The Porsche 911 Carrera received updates for 1987 including a more powerful 3.2-liter flat-six engine and the desirable G50 5-speed manual transaxle. This Carrera Coupe is finished in Black over matching leather upholstery and features an electric sunroof, cruise control, and a central locking system. Upgrades include a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, a Blaupunkt Monte Carlo head unit, and a sport-tuned exhaust. Previously owned by the same caretaker for approximately 10 years, this example was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025 and is now being offered for auction out of Texas with approximately 46k miles showing on the odometer.
This 911 is finished in Black (L700) and equipped with a front chin spoiler, integrated front fog lights, an electric sunroof, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with black-painted centers, polished outer lips, and colored Porsche crest center caps. It rides on Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum tires from 2013. A collection of images is provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is outfitted with Black leather upholstery and matching carpets. Accessories include power windows, air conditioning, automatic speed control, and a central locking system. Modifications consist of a leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, a Blaupunkt Monte Carlo head unit, and a driver’s side footrest. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine factory-rated at 217 HP, paired with a desirable G50 5-speed manual transaxle driving the rear wheels. The seller states an engine-out service was performed in 2015, which included replacement of the clutch disc, release bearing, crankshaft seal, clutch pivot shaft conversion, slave cylinder, and guide sleeve. Additional maintenance is said to include new spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, an oil filter, a cat bypass pipe, a lower muffler, exhaust gaskets, and a shift rod seal, along with a brake fluid flush and new CV boots. A Bosch alternator has since been installed, and further work included replacing front and rear hood shocks, diagnosing and recharging the air conditioning system, repairing window switches, correctly reinstalling the passenger window motor, and addressing various electrical issues with fuse replacements and wiring corrections.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Very well cared for 911 that was owned by a family that has an amazing collection of cars.”
