For the 1987 model year update, the Porsche 911 Carrera featured a more powerful 3.2-liter flat-six engine paired with a new and refined 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. This 1987 Carrera Coupe is finished in Guards Red over Black partial leather upholstery and features front and rear spoilers, gold-finished 16” Fuchs wheels, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, an SW Chips performance ECU chip, a K&N air intake, and a Fabspeed exhaust system. This classic air-cooled 911 is now being offered for auction out of Michigan.
This Carrera is finished in Guards Red (L80K) and features a front chin spoiler, integrated fog lights, black stone guard decals, a whale tail rear spoiler, a chrome oval exhaust tip, power-adjustable mirrors, and an electric sunroof. The car rides on newly powder-coated gold 16” Fuchs alloy wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Exalto tires from 2020. The seller notes signs of paintwork on several body panels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black partial leather interior includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, power windows, a central locking system, air conditioning, cruise control, black carpet floor mats, and an aftermarket stereo. The original R12 air conditioning system is inoperable. The seller notes the odometer recently failed and was quickly repaired, although the mileage is now slightly inaccurate.
Factory-rated at 217 HP, the air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine has been modified with a K&N air filter, an SW Chips performance ECU chip, and a Fabspeed Motorsports exhaust system. The rear wheels are driven by a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox. The car has been modified with a Rennline battery mount, cutoff switch, and an upgraded Odyssey battery. An oil change and brake fluid flush was performed in 2024 along with replacements of the hood struts and thermostat oil line. The seller notes slight oil seepage beneath the engine after the car has been driven at operating temperature.
This sale will include the original airbox and muffler, service records, and a clean title.

@XHILLR8 absolutely no evidence of body damage or filler. i am afraid i don't have records but previous owner noted front right fender and bumper were painted due to stone chips and drivers door and drivers quarter panel were painted because of scratches. it is hard to tell in person as well. i inspected the panels from inside the fenders and rear wheel wells and everything looks perfect. i think everything else is up date re maintenance after recent oil change and brake fluid flush. appreciate the questions, wife said i can only keep one guards red car...
Beautiful car, seller. In the description it says: "The seller notes signs of paintwork on several body panels." Any evidence of damage/body filler? Tough to tell from the pics which panels received work. Can you please elaborate?
Does the car require any additional maintenance outside of the oil leak and AC?
Thanks for the feedback! BTW, nice RS! ;)
