Finished in the sought-after combination of Cassis Red Metallic over Burgundy leather, this 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet also features a rear spoiler, Fuchs alloy wheels, and a 5-speed G50 manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Believed to have spent most of its life in Florida, this Carrera is accompanied by over 25 years of maintenance records and benefits from extensive recent service. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 73k miles on the odometer.
This 911 was ordered in the rare and desirable color of Cassis Red Metallic (L80D) and features a rear spoiler, integrated front fog lights, and black stone guards on the rear fenders. The seller notes a new OEM German cabriolet top was recently fitted along with new seals. The factory 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels come dressed in Continental ExtremeContact tires dated from 2019 and some minor imperfections are depicted in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Burgundy leather with matching carpets and floor mats. Options include a power driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar support, central locking, a tonneau cover, and cruise control. An aftermarket JVC stereo head unit has been installed and paired with upgraded aftermarket speakers in the doors.
An air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine delivers up to 217 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed G50 manual transmission. Recent service includes installation of upgraded Turbo tie rides as well as new spark plugs, oil return tubes, CV boots, hood shocks, air filter, and an oil change. Over 25 years’ worth of maintenance records will accompany the sale and the seller adds the brakes were completely redone at about 57k miles.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, toolkit, spare tire, service records, and a clean title.
