Finished in Grand Prix White over a Marine Blue interior, this 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet features a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle paired with its air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine. It comes equipped with a special-order three-spoke steering wheel, Sport Seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a Blaupunkt Reno radio, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels. The car was purchased by the current owner about 20 years ago and has since benefitted from a clutch replacement, oil leak repairs, and a recently replaced convertible top. A well-appointed example of a classic air-cooled 911, this Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Kentucky.
The exterior is finished in Grand Prix White with a dark blue convertible top that was replaced within the last 500 miles. Equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a dark blue tonneau cover, black stone guard decals, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels. The seller notes that the exterior is in very good condition, adding that the car has been kept in a climate-controlled garage for the past 20 years. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with an accident-free CARFAX report.
The Marine Blue interior features deeply bolstered Sport Seats, a special-order three-spoke leather steering wheel, aftermarket coco floor mats, air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, an alarm system, and a Blaupunkt Reno radio. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional. The CARFAX report indicates a potential odometer rollback in 1998 and a mileage inconsistency in 2009, although the seller disputes that the mileage displayed on the odometer is accurate.
Factory-rated at 217 HP and 195 lb-ft of torque, the air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. Several oil leaks were repaired, and the clutch was replaced under current ownership. The CARFAX report shows new valve cover gaskets installed in 2015 and a fuel pump replacement in 2023.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, a battery trickle charger, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Don't miss your chance to own this well-maintained example of a Porsche 911. I have owned this car for over 20 years, and it has been very well cared for and stored inside a climate-controlled garage!”

@butchlobo Thank you for your interest. I’m not real sure about the confusing carfax. I purchased this car 20 years ago locally from a friend. It is a dead straight car with zero rust and near perfect carpets/paint/interior. It’s been a apart of my Porsche collection for years and know Porsches/cars very well. Recently acquired an 89’ speedster and so this G50 must go. It’s a solid honest original car and encourage inspection anytime if helpful! It’s super tight and makes all the right air cooled noises all the way up to 6k. Clutch/synchros all perfect. Drove it from Louisville to Mexico and all the way up California coast to Seattle with my wife years ago and it never missed a beat. Sorry for my delayed response and thanks again.

Can the seller please help clarify the very convoluted Carfax? It looks like the early mileage statements are estimated of arbitrary and the latter numbers attempt to correct these readings and then are shown as incorrect once again. Might help with value to know the real story.
