@CABRIOLET-INT I realized that after the photos and ad were posted. It maybe to one of my other cars. I will not be able to clarify before the end of auction..
@ Seller picture 93 shows warranty book, however the VIN# is different than the VIN listed on PCAR?
Bid in the amount of $27,500
@bigvitty4u thanks I am in California and interested in bidding but need to be sure the car will come with recent smog cert.
@CABRIOLET-INT good morning. Obviously if it needed to be smogged I would work to get it done. I have just not tried to smog it.
@ Seller as a California Dealer how is it possible you are selling a car in California that can not be smogged?
@hankster66 good morning the car's not registered in CA and I would not promise it would pass smog.
Nicely maintained 911. If registered in CA, how do you pass smog? Are non-cat specs exempt?
@Pcars engine appears to be original and up opened. So I am to assume the heads and head studs are original
The clutch is original I believe and is smooth.
Have the heads been done? Dilivar Head studs ? Rubber center clutch disc replaced? Thanks for updates.
Bid in the amount of $25,000
@Pcars no tonneau sorry
Is there a cover for the top when down?

@973marty yes unleaded
@Spyder Monterey CA
Where is the car physically located? In July it was in Philly. Still in Philly and if so can it be viewed in person.
It is stated that it operates with leaded gas. Does it operate with unleaded?
Hello everyone!!
Just uploaded ubderside and front trunk photos as requested!!
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
Update for everyone. I will be trying to get a lot of these photos / questions addressed tomorrow. That being said there's a 77% chance of rain tomorrow. If it rains I will not be driving the car.
Fingers crossed 🤞
@fjinva thank you for the message. I will work on these requested items you have this week after the holiday. Thanks and merry Christmas!!
@Dwhite thank you for saying that. As I stated I will work on these requested items this week after the holidays. I greatly appreciate your interest.
@bigvitty4u. I am also in the market and would like to bid. A driving video would be awesome to see/hear. There are several items that seem to be in question. For me to bid - The underside needs careful pictures for a car that spent time in NY. Paint meter readings are a must have. Leak down/ compression #s are important. Pictures of under the carpets in the frunk corners, drivers floor, and rear corners. Not so important, but interesting - the manual is from a different car and is stamped Hewlett, NY. The top and driver seat cover appear to have been replaced. Interested to see more, TIA.
I'm not trying to be harsh. This info will help your auction. Merry Christmas to you too.
@Dwhite good morning. I will work on getting underside photos and front trunk photos for you this week. Please enjoy your holiday. Cheers
The book your showing is a different vin than this cars vin. As a dealer I would hope you have a paint meter to show the paints readings as a person selling in an online auction.
The car sold at an a PA auction and 8 days later it was titled in manheim. There are no coincidences.
You need to provide more information on this car. Service records, pictures of the trunk area behind the carpet, undercarriage photos. I'm on the market, but there is just not enough here to make an informed decision for me to even bid. I can't do the hopefully it's all good.
@911symphony hello and good morning. The carfax states the car was at an auto auction in 1993. It doesn't say Manheim. I wanted to be clear to you before. I don't have any information surrounding that auction nor was I involved with the car in 1993.
Also as pertaining to the soft top. I do can only provide information based on what I see. The top is in very nice condition. If it's been replaced it was done extremely well.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
@bigvitty4u It clearly states in picture #96 the car was in a manheim auto auction…..judging by picture #57 the top has been replaced……do your homework buyer as their are serious questions unanswered here. Keep that in mind and good luck to buyer n seller.
@Pcars I currently don't have paint metering. The paint appears ro be original. Leather is very nice and supple and carpet is nice along with the rest of the interior. Top works amazing! And I believe the top if original and it's in excellent condition. I can't promise it's not been replaced if it was it was done to an incredible standard.
No issues I know of
Leak down numbers, paint thickness, original paint, leather still soft any issues, original top? etc. thanks
@Pcars thank you for getting in the mix!! This is a great car. Top works flawlessly!
This would be the sister to the low milage 87 cab I am just finishing restoring. Kicked this off with a little reminder bid.
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@911symphony hello thank you for the questions.
I have no idea if the car was in an auction in 1993. I wasn't involved with the car in 1993
As for the carpet. This carpet on these is quite soft and that small area of wear is right next to the clutch pedal where your foot rubs when you depress the clutch.
Nice car……couple things: can explain has this car ended up in an auction in 1993? Rare for a 911, no less a 7 year old car. Also picture #73. The worn out carpeting doesn’t seem to correspond with other newer looking carpeting throughout car. Thanx so much.
