An icon of the 1980s, this Ferrari 328 is one of 1,414 GTS versions produced in 1987 and comes finished in Nero Metallic over a matching leather interior. Equipped with a mid-mounted Tipo F105 V8 engine, the 328 GTS showcases Pininfarina-designed bodywork and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan showing approximately 66k miles on the odometer.
Adapted from its predecessor the Ferrari 308, the Pininfarina-designed bodywork of the 328 featured a more rounded aerodynamic nose, body-colored bumpers, and a larger radiator vent on the front bonnet. This GTS is finished in Nero Metallic with a removable black roof panel. Details include a mid-mounted black spoiler, side air intakes, dual mirrors, popup headlamps, integrated front fog lights, and a rear valence with quad exhaust tips. This 328 rides on factory 16” Speedline alloy wheels dressed in new Hankook Ventus V12 tires and brakes. The seller notes minor signs of road wear, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black leather with matching door panels, carpeting, and Ferrari-branded floor mats. Amenities include a 5-speed gated shifter, MOMO steering wheel, Veglia instrumentation, power windows and door locks. Upgraded items include a Sony stereo with a remote controller and Nakamichi dual amplifiers, an Escort K40 radar detector, and a UNGO Techne auto-alarm and anti-theft device that have been installed discreetly. The seller notes some wear on the driver’s seat bolster.
This 328 GTS is powered by a 3.2-liter Tipo F105 V8 engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, mounted transversely behind the passenger compartment. An output of up to 270 HP and 231 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller adds that recent service items include a new timing belt, drive belts, water pump, thermostat, cooling hoses, clutch, and battery, along with a tune-up to the fuel injection system.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Carsbringhappiness I meant coolant/ engine temperature gauge only.
@garagekept thanks for the response.
My comment on the cold start was based on looking a the oil/coolant temperature gauges not being at zero when idling.
Nonetheless seems like a well sorted car.

@Carsbringhappiness there's a cold start video in the listing. I wish we would have done a driving video prior to this ice storm that just hit the Midwest. Not taking it out with all the salt on the roads. We have driven it and had compression test done - all checks out. And no, the car has been repainted.
Final hours of the auction... we can assist with enclosed transport to anywhere in the continental U.S.
Wow! Just, wow!!!

Beautiful black on black color scheme!
Do you have any cold start videos and driving videos you could upload?
Is the paint original?
Any compression leak check on the motor?
Bid in the amount of $30,000
I’m not a bidder for this one, but I will say that the beauty of these transverse engined V-8s, the 308 and 328 is that one can service the engine from the wheelwells and access panels.
Not so with the 348 which needs its engine dropped from the car for service. Very costly!
Bid in the amount of $23,000
@SIRAMED The company is Aaltech Automotive Service

@TheGerman Yes, it is a switch for the AC. It works too! No cruise control though.
@garagekept
At pic 130, is it the switch for the A/C?
Because nothing is written in the description!
Does the car have a crusie controll??
