The 1986 model year saw the introduction of the Porsche 944 Turbo (951) which featured a new turbocharged and intercooled engine as well as improved aerodynamics, a stiffer suspension, and larger brakes than the standard 944 model. This launch-year example comes finished in Guards Red over a Black interior and features a host of options including partial leather front seats, an electric sunroof, Sport shock absorbers, cruise control, a rear window wiper, protective side moldings, and a raised steering wheel hub. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this 944 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its third owner out of Connecticut with less than 6k miles showing on the odometer.
The 944 Turbo is distinguished from a standard 944 by its more rounded aerodynamic nose with an integrated bumper and driving lights as well as a body-colored diffuser below the rear bumper. This example is finished in Guards Red (LM3A) and comes equipped with 16” Phone Dial wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Exalto tires. Optional equipment includes protective side moldings and a rear window wiper. Paint protection film is said to have been applied in May 2021, and the seller states the right passenger-side fender has undergone a small section of paintwork due to a slight dent when the second owner hit a road pole and a low speed. The seller adds that the rims were recently reversed. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents black partial leather upholstery and features an optional electric sunroof, raised steering wheel hub, cruise control, and partial leather front seats. An upgraded Porsche Classic Communication Management system has been fitted. Equipment also includes Altec Lansing speakers, power windows & door locks, air conditioning, and 944-embroidered floor mats. The seller adds that the power window relay was replaced in November 2021. Additionally, a new sunroof latch has been fitted, and the glove compartment, CD changer, and woofer have been deactivated.
A turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter inline-four engine delivers up to 220 HP and 243 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. The 944 Turbo features a stiffer suspension than a standard 944 and shares its fixed 4-piston Brembo brakes with the contemporary 911 Carrera. The seller adds that the transaxle O-rings were replaced in November 2021, and a replacement exhaust system has been fitted. The power steering pressure line was replaced in September 2022, and the power steering rack, power steering reservoir, and tie rods were replaced in August 2023. Most recently, the timing belt and steering fluid line were replaced.
This sale will include a clean title, a window sticker, and a host of service records.
The seller would like you to know: "Very well maintained 944 Turbo. Indoor storage. New timing belt and main/front seals/muffler updated. Selling due to buying another 944 turbo with 2K miles. Hard to maintain both cars."

The car is not painted. The car has PPF throughout which increases it 10 mm. There is a front quarter panel that has a touchup.

Beautiful car. I have a near identical car but with sport seats. I remember when it was initially on BaT. I had a lot of dialog with that seller. I see that your paint meter readings are much higher than when first presented for sale. Is that from the PPF or was this car repainted since its BaT listing in 2019?

I sure wish PCar would put up bidders history of Bids and wins. I strongly dislike comments from people on auctions who have never bid on or won a car. There are people who just like to get on and comment and cast dispersions on others cars or create. That history allows a bidder to evaluate someone’s credibility on weather they are a bidder / buyer or just noise. Beautiful car. Was this car listed recently? It seems like I remember a really low mileage 86 Turbo selling just recently.
@WOF73 there are TWO separate cars on that invoice. there are no mileage discrepancies... thanks.
Beautiful car! There seem to be mileage discrepancies on a few of the receipts from the service performed in Virginia?
