Equipped with an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle, this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa features a Grey Green interior, Turbo-style spoilers, 16” Fuchs wheels, and a removable roof panel. Purchased by its second and current owner in 1992, this Carrera Targa is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut with approximately 61k miles showing on the odometer.
This 911 is finished in Black with a matching Targa bar and removable roof panel. Other equipment includes integrated fog lights, Turbo-style front and rear spoilers, black stone guard decals, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels. The seller indicates the car was refinished following an accident in 1992 and some scrapes are present on the left rear bumper, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report.
The cabin features rare Grey Green partial leather upholstery including a four-spoke steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and matching carpets. Other accessories include air conditioning, a heater, power windows, cruise control, a Porsche-crested gear knob, a locking glovebox, an analog quartz clock, and an updated Blaupunkt stereo.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed Type 915 manual transaxle. The seller indicates an extensive collection of maintenance records is available and the brake calipers were recently serviced.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Purchased in 1992 by current owner, garage kept and cared for.”

@TheGerman The right front fender looks to have been repaired and painted. The car, on balance, retains its original under hood decal, paint code decal in the trunk and door jam decals.

@TheGerman As I have stated, I do not have any information from the incident 30 years ago.
Sorry, but right now the last question:
Was it just a fender bender or was it structural damage?
Do you know which parts of the vehicle were affected?
....that the car retains its original body panels and pa....
Can we interpret this statement to mean that this was a small accident with minor damage and low cost?

Porsche provides two difference COA services today: The Porsche Classic Technical Certificate and the Porsche Production Specification. The latter is basically a document of options and specs only and is $125. The PCTC will document the engine and trans numbers and note whether they are matching to the original build. Prices are not listed but I've seen $500 and up for the PCTC.
Bid in the amount of $23,000
@nfrancisquelo No recent major service other than freeing up the calipers due to lack of driving and being in storage. Porsche no longer provides a COA service and I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the car given the service history.
@salocr I do not see why not. Check with known carriers for that information.
@bb911 I do not have any information other than that the car retains its original body panels and paint does not display cracking or crazing found in many repairs from 30 years ago.
Hello, any more info on the accident back in ‘92? Like the severity and location of the damage. Thanks!
Hello, can you send the car to Mexico City?
Hi ! do you have COA for the car ? full matching engine and trans ? why need to be done to the car on your option ? any major service done in the past 2 years ? thanks in advance
