Up for auction is this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe finished in Black over a Champagne beige interior. This 1986 example features a 5-speed manual transmission, front and rear spoilers, newly refinished Fuchs wheels, a rear window wiper, and power-adjustable front seats. It was originally sold in Florida before moving to California in the late 1990s and has undergone a complete engine and transmission rebuild within the last 5k miles. This 911 was eventually acquired by the current owner in January of 2021 who has since carried out extensive refurbishment including many mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic items. Now showing approximately 155k miles on the odometer, this classic air-cooled Carrera is being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Carrera is finished in Black and comes equipped with front and rear spoilers, removable Porsche side stripes, and factory 16” Fuchs wheels which have been recently refinished by Harvey Weidman and dressed in new Yokohama Advan tires. Since purchasing the car, the seller has addressed several items throughout the exterior including a new rubber windshield seal, a new OEM driver’s side mirror, and installation of H4 headlights. Some minor cosmetic imperfections are noted including small paint chips on the front valence, around the headlights, front hood, and rocker panels. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Carrera features a Champagne beige interior with a black dashboard and upper door panels. Factory equipment includes power-operated front seats, power windows and door locks, an electric sunroof, air conditioning, and cruise control. A new steering wheel has been recently installed and the seller has also replaced the turn signal/high-beam switch, the rear defroster switch, the complete windshield washer system, and front hood shocks. The clock was fixed, and new LED dash lights were installed along with a new blade-type fuse panel, new speakers, and an Alpine radio. Some wear is noted on the seats and driver’s door panel as well as cracks on the dashboard as depicted in the photo gallery. The A/C reportedly will not hold a charge, although all other gauges and accessories are said to work properly.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed 915 manual gearbox that sends as much as 207 HP to the rear wheels. Both the engine and transmission were fully rebuilt within the last 5k miles along with the installation of all new Bilstein Sport shocks and struts. Other recent items include new brake lines and fluid, new CV joints, throttle position sensor repair, and changes of the engine oil and transaxle fluid. The seller notes that only tiny shavings were found on the metal transaxle plug following the fluid change. The catalytic converter has also been gutted for improved exhaust flow and sound. Invoices for the recent mechanical work are provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a collection of invoices and service records along with a clean title. An ideal air-cooled driver for any passionate enthusiast, this Carrera features iconic styling and a long list of recent refurbishments. Do not let this one pass you by.

Hi Fresnofile - I'm local near Roseville. Would you be open for me to come check the car in person?
It will not pass smog. It came to me with a gutted catalytic converter and it runs and sounds so nice I haven’t changed it.
Hello #Fresnofile
