We are pleased to present this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe finished in the unique color combination of White Gold Metallic over a brown partial leather interior. With long-term ownership from 1989-2019, records will show that this vehicle has been extremely well maintained throughout its life. It is now being offered in very nice condition by its seller out of Tennessee.
From the factory, this Carrera has been finished in the desirable color of White Gold Metallic. The seller states that the vehicle stands in very nice condition with a professional refinishing of the front and rear valence recently carried out to correct road-going wear. A stand out feature on this vehicle’s exterior is the rare factory color-matched Fuchs wheels that come wrapped in a set of Yokohama tires.
Inside, you will find a Brown partial leather interior that is also stated to be in excellent condition (detailed images are available in the photo gallery). The seller notes that all electronics are in working order including the original Blaupunkt head unit and factory air conditioning. The seller also notes that one of the speaker grills has a small crack, however, the seller is going to include a new Blaupunkt speaker system with all hardware.
A massive update over the previous SC model, the 911 Carrera 3.2 boasted all-new braking, electronic, and suspension technologies as well as an updated 3.2 L flat-six engine. This Carrera’s new and improved power plant delivers 207 HP to the rear wheels via a 5-speed 915 transmission; allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 6.3 seconds and a top speed of around 150mph. Complete with extensive records since 1989, this Carrera 3.2 has been recently serviced with all new fluids and filters along with a clutch adjustment, new oil sending unit, and a new distributor cap. It is said to be in excellent running condition.
The sale will include two keys, factory books, new speaker system and hardware, service records, and original tool roll.

Very pretty car!!! Good luck with the auction.
Good morning to everyone out there in bidderland.......it's the start of a beautiful day and I hope that by auction's close today this extremely nice Carrera will have found a new home. I believe that the guys here at Pcarmarket are doing a super job getting these special cars out there for the buyers and appreciate all of the help they have give me along the way. This is only the second 911 I have ever listed and the first went off like clockwork just a couple of weeks back as I sold a one owner SC to a fellow who was very pleased upon delivery. I have never wasted my time with marginal cars and feel quite confident that the winning bidder will be getting a clean example of the timeless 3.2 liter coupes. In my mind (although I must say that I love the mid-year cars as well), the SCs and the six year run of the Carreras are my favorite model years of all 911s. I truly believe that they represent the last opportunity for getting the true "air-cooled" experience available and the really good ones are sure to hold up as time goes on.
- all the best

Anyway to contact the seller directly or only public comments?
Bid in the amount of $26,849
Car has no leaks....I had a tired oil thermostat o-ring that had been leaking a small amount for an unknown length of time that was addressed back in March and a new oil sending unit was installed at that time. This corrected the leak and a new distributor car was added along with a clutch adjustment.
The ac blows cool and like any other 911 of this era could benefit from a charge...the system is fully operational -
Any leaks or drips? Does the AC blow cold?
@Adamsadd Thanks for your add-on to my comment -LoveBugs need to start looking at some other web site- Porsche are special and don't always have a perfect sound as for as being quite while running-Great job- this 86 is a special find and I wish I didn't have six Porsche at this time or I would be in this bidding in a big way- Take Care and Safe Porsche world

FWIW - I purchased an SC on this site from this seller a few weeks ago. He was great to work with and everything arrived as advertised.
Bid in the amount of $25,911
@Love2bugs - Yeah..he will get right on it! Are you really this arrogant or are you trying to scare off other bidders? Either way, lose the attitude and stop barking orders at the seller. You like the car bid, you don't like the car, don't bid! Either way NOBODY wants your feedback!
@robmsales .....I appreciate the kind words. I hope that folks are beginning to get their lives back to the "new normal" at least and am looking forward to a great weekend.
Bid in the amount of $22,500
What a great looking 86 911- can't believe the condition of the one, just a note to Lovebug guy, if some replacement belt is troubling to you, I'm not sure you should buy or drive a 911- that such an easy fix - this 911 has 20+ years left of driving, and having a great looking car at the same time
Sorry about the lousy vid but I have never shot one before with the iphone in a fixed contraption and this one was mounted on the quarter window driver's side with the main window lowered. Although the car drives very well - the video sucks.......
Driving video should be forthcoming by tomorrow morning...stay tuned.
Wow......a pristine 3.2 Carrera Coupe held by the same party for 30 years.....here's a find.
Thanks for the video. Please replace
all the belts ( I hear some squeaking)and reshoot the video
including a short drive shifting through the gears.
Thank you for your time

Correction for the above comment. Car was owned by 2 best friends since new - not MY 2 best friends.........sorry about that -
Greetings to all Porsche lovers! I am pleased to have my Carrera listed on this site and hope that we can find a new owner for a really solid 3.2 liter coupe. This car has been babied by my two best friends since new and the second owner had the car from 1989 thru 2019, finally selling due to having multiple cars and limited garage space. It needs only an enthusiastic new owner that is ready and willing to put it in the road. Best of luck bidding and I will do my best to answer any and all inquiries as the listing goes on.
