Finished in Grand Prix White over a black partial leather interior, this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet was sold new from Dick Horrigan Porsche of Reading, Pennsylvania, and had remained with its second owner from 1992 up until 2020. Lovingly driven and maintained under the care of its long-term owner until their passing, this 911 was gifted to the current owner and is now being offered for auction with approximately 118k miles on the odometer.
This 911 is finished in Grand Prix White and features a Carrera “whale tail” spoiler, integrated front fog lights, a black power-operated cabriolet top, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with Michelin tires (1314). A new OEM Haartz canvas cabriolet top has been recently installed and the seller notes the car has been driven with a protective vinyl bra covering the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black partial leather interior comes factory equipped with an optional short-shift gear lever, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, and a leather-covered steering wheel. A set of black carpet floor mats with red Porsche lettering have been added along with an aftermarket stereo. The seller describes the cabin to have been kept in very good condition with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 207 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed 915 manual gearbox. The seller states that consistent maintenance was observed throughout the car’s lifetime including valve adjustments, oil changes, A/C service, fuel filter changes, valve cover gasket replacements, and brakes.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, a spare tire, and a clean title.

@RoadrunnerLady I'm looking throught the massive stack of records to be able to answer your question. In the meantime I can report that the rubber trim is all in excellent condition all around the car ~ not just great, but excellent. No cracking or splitting. By the way, there's no "crunch" under the plastic/rubber trim on the bumper that tucks under the hood. So many times I see rusty crunching when you push hard down on the inner side of that trim, even on low-mile G-Series, but not on this one.
Have the fuel lines been replaced? What is the overall condition of the rubber trim? Thank you.
Was supposed to say, where is the car located?
Where is Dakar located? I’m in Hershey.
@WGris Thanks for the kind words. I sold these G-Series when they were new. They are classics now. I see so many abused G-Series come through my operation, it's a breath of fresh air to see one so well taken care of. And, driving it is the most impressive part. It drives like a 60k-mile G-Series...nice and tight in the steering and suspension. Also, no slop on the shifter. This, in my opinion, is an outstanding example of a G-Series Cab.
To my eye the stance on this beautiful car is perfect! As the owner of a brand new 2023 911 Carrera 4S Coupe, I’d buy this Cab in a minute if I hadn’t just exhausted my car budget! I sense that the bidders are about to wake up on this one. GLWTA

@Proteng This car has zero rust. No fluid drips. No compression test, no leakdown test.
@Roma won't let me send a reply

Would the Seller plz comment on any rust, transmission or engine oil leaks and if recent compression/leak off test results are available. THX
Any way we can see some of the documents in that folder? Service records, receipts, etc\
Thanks.
@beercan69 Thanks! Someones going to end up with a really good one. It's a solid Cab...not one of those lipstick-on-a-pig Cabs. Hey, I like your handle name beercan69!
Great car.....GLWS!
Hello Porsche enthusiasts. I’m introducing myself to all of you as I’m new to PCM. I’ve been helping sellers find buyers for their cars since 1984 ~ well before the internet. Back then we only had newspaper classified ads. My dealership is all consignment cars; this 911 Cab is here on consignment with a very realistic seller. Let me know if anyone has any questions!
Beautiful Cab. The 3.2 engine is arguably the best Porsche ever made and this mileage is nothing. GLWTA
Super nice car. Surprised at the lack of activity...
