Finished in Grand Prix White over a Grey Green leather interior, this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet Turbo-Look was delivered new in Holland before being imported back to Maryland by its original owner who kept the car up until 2006. This Euro-spec 1986 example is believed to be one of only 419 factory M491 “Turbo-Look” Carreras built in total and showcases Slant Nose style boxed rockers and side air intakes. Previously sold on PCARMARKET, this outstanding Turbo Look Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 32k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera is finished in Grand Prix White with the Turbo Look (M491) package adding wider fenders along with front and rear spoilers. Other features include Slant Nose stile boxed rocker panels and side air intakes, European market lighting, a replacement black convertible top, and factory-painted Fuchs wheels dressed in Dunlop tires.
The driver is greeted by a rare Grey Green leather interior with cloth seat centers and Porsche lettering. Factory features include adjustable front seats, power windows, automatic speed control, and air conditioning. The radio has been removed and an aftermarket center console armrest has been installed along with an aftermarket black leather shift knob.
A European-specification 3.2-liter flat-six engine sends up to 231 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. The Turbo Look package also equips the Carrera with larger brakes and suspension derived from the 930 Turbo. A collection of service records accompanies the sale.
This sale will include some records and documentation along with a clean title.

@JohnBlackyoldtimer not sure if we can get a road trest video before the auction ends. I road tested the car and did not hear any abnormal noises from the gearbox or the engine. The gearbox shits smoothly and clutch operation feels good too. Brake pedal feels great. Not sure exactly how much brake pad and disc remains. Will try and get answers on Tuesday. I need to check with the shop to see if we can get it in for the compression test before the auction ends. With the holiday it might be tough because they are closed until Tuesday. The car does have original paint with no signs of any paintwork. I’m not sure on the Dutch paperwork. Need to look into this. Have a happy new year.
and does the vehicle still have the export papers and perhaps the Dutch VIN? Or can the Dutch seller also be named later?
Hi, can you do another video on the road shifting up and down all the gears? Are there any noises coming from the gearbox? How good are the brake discs and brake pads? If the car was ice blasted and when you drove, please make us videos of the running engine from above and below. Is that still the original paint on the vehicle and are there repaired areas? Does the transmission shift smoothly and silently? It would be great if you could do an exhaust gas test and take a photo of the values? Was there a compression test of all 6 cylinders and could you do one?
A lot of questions, but all of them would be worth a surcharge if the values were good. Happy and healthy New Year everyone.

The rocker brake cooling ducts do not appear on the build sheet. They have their own option code.
@JohnBlackyoldtimer underside pics were taken today. It's really nice. All pics have been submitted and uploaded. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

Hello, great color combination.
Please post photos of the undercarriage. Does the original shifter still exist?
Thanks
