Produced from 1984 to 1989, the Nissan 300Z, or Z31, served as a progression from the early Datsun 240Z and 280Z models, contributing significantly to the Z-brand’s popularity with technological advancements and a modernized design. Powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, this 1986 example comes refinished in maroon over a matching interior. Showing approximately 72k miles on the odometer, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This example is said to have been completely refinished in its current shade of maroon under previous ownership. Design cues consist of a T-bar roof with removable glass panels, pop-up headlights, front and rear spoilers, pronounced fenders, and a twin exhaust outlet. It rides on factory 16” turbine-style alloy wheels with Z-branded center caps and new tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents red leather upholstery with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Features include Turbo-embroidered seat backrests, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, a digital gauge cluster, and various center console-mounted controls. Amenities consist of a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, air conditioning, and cruise control.
Power is derived from a turbocharged 3.0-liter VG30ET V6 engine, sending as much as 200 HP and 227 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Braking is provided by power-assisted 4-wheel discs. The seller states an oil and filter change was performed upon their acquisition.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This beautiful Florida own beautiful color combination 1986 Nissan Turbo 5 speed manual transmission. These cars are beautiful and rare. It is breathtaking to see and to drive in person.”

@Abuong01 For it aged the vehicle is in really good Condition form inside and out . The leather seats has no rips or tears and I have no idea the seats have been repaired. The leather Dash also look Good and it has it little patina but no fades or rips.
Have the front seats been recovered or refinished, the seat bottoms look newer and unmarked relative to the rest of the seats. Is the dash leather pulling away or wrinkled, hard to see in the pictures though it looks wavy in these shots.

Why do some have a drivers side hood scoop and others do not. I have not seen it as a factory option on build sheets. Are they just aftermarket ?
