Spanning nearly two decades of production from 1971 to 1989, the R107 holds the distinction of being one of the longest-running models in the brand’s history, second only to the legendary G-Class. As the range-topping variant, the 560SL is equipped with a robust 5.5-liter V8 engine. This 1986 example was ordered in Signal Red over Palomino leather upholstery and comes equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission, a body-color removal hardtop, 15″ Gullideckel wheels, air conditioning, a Becker Grand Prix stereo, and more. Garage-kept in a climate-controlled environment by the previous owner, an avid Mercedes collector, this R107 is now being offered for auction out of Canada.

Factory-specified in Signal Red (568), this example is said to have since been refinished under previous ownership and comes equipped with a body-color removable hardtop complemented by chrome accents. Notable exterior features include quad headlamps and front fog lights specific to North American models, along with chrome-trimmed bumpers with overriders, window moldings, and mirror caps. It rides on 15” Gullideckel alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Harmony tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The interior offers Palomino leather (274) upholstery with color-coordinated carpets, a contrasting black dashboard, and burl wood trim. Equipment includes automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, a center armrest, and power windows. Additional amenities include sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, an automatic antenna, and a Becker Grand Prix stereo. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order.

Power comes from a 5.6-liter M117 V8 engine, which delivers a factory-rated 227 HP and 279 lb.-ft of torque to rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a sales brochure, and a Canadian registration.

The seller would like you to know: “This vehicle belonged to a Mercedes collector and was always wiped and polished and stored inside. everything on the car works. The vehicle is completely stock.”

@Oddestball I can put you in touch with an importer that can handle all the paperwork. Prior the new tariffs it was 2% on old vehicles such as this one and fill out few forms. Cant comment on shipping as i do not know where you live. Also from my understanding this vehicle being from states originally you will not need to pay new tariffs and also it may be on pause for autos till april second anyways. So you in the clear to bid on this unit
