The 560SL stood as the top-tier offering in the R107 SL-Series lineup, Mercedes-Benz’s third-generation grand touring roadster produced from 1971 through 1989. At the heart of the 560SL is a 5.6-liter V8, making it the most powerful variant in the R107 range. This 1986 example was ordered in Black over Palomino upholstery and comes equipped with a black soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, heated front seats, 15” Gullideckel alloy wheels, and more. Showing just over 143k miles on the odometer, this garage-kept R107 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan.

This example was factory-specified in Black (040U) with a matching convertible soft top and a removable body-color hardtop. Exterior details include North American-spec quad headlamps, front fog lights, and chrome-trimmed bumpers with overriders, along with chrome window moldings and mirror caps. It rides on 15” Gullideckel alloy wheels, wrapped in Dunlop Sport Signature tires, which show 2010 date codes. The seller describes the exterior as being in good condition, with paint that presents well and a rust-free body, noting only a small area of paint checking on the left front fender.
