Bearing the top trim level available at the time, this Mercedes-Benz R107 560SL features a 5.5-liter V8 along with automatic air conditioning, cruise control, and other driver amenities. This 1986 example was factory optioned with a Diamond Blue Metallic finish over a Royal Blue leather interior. Stated to have always been garage-kept, this one-owner 560SL is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas showing just under 28k miles on the odometer.
The exterior was factory optioned in Diamond Blue Metallic (355O) with a matching removable hard top. Additional features include North American-spec quad headlamps and front fog lights along with chrome-trimmed bumpers, window moldings, and mirror caps. This SL retains factory 15” Gullideckel alloy wheels. The seller notes that the exterior is in great condition with the exception of a few minor blemishes. The CARFAX report shows damage to the rear end in August of 2022. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior is appointed with Royal Blue (272) leather which covers the dashboard, door panels, and armrest. The cabin is accented with wood trim The front seats have been fitted with aftermarket fleece covers in tan. Equipment includes a Becker radio, cruise control, automatic climate control, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, heated side view mirrors, a power-adjustable right-side mirror, and heat-insulating glass including a heated rear windowpane. The seller adds that all gauges and accessories are working properly, and the fuel level sending unit was recently replaced.
The 560SL houses a 5.6-liter M117 V8 rated at 227 HP and 279 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a four-speed automatic transmission. Other equipment includes power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. A recent service is said to have included new brakes, rotors, pads, and brake lines all around, along with an oil change.

New photos added of the Mercedes 560sl before I purchased it. As the pictures show no damage and a clean carfax report . Carfax has incorrectly posted rear damage I am working with then to correct their mistake.

@ZGGS the owner died and the title could not be found or duplicate. So the only option to get a title is for a surety bond to be filed.
