Available for auction is this 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS finished in Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior. Introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Auto Salon, the Ferrari 328 was the final evolution of Ferrari’s transverse-mounted naturally aspirated V8 Dino engine and has been described as one of the most usable classic Ferraris on the market. This two-owner example is said to have undergone a major service in September 2022 which included a new timing belt and drive belts, water pump, cooling hoses, clutch, battery, and more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia while showing approximately 61k miles on the odometer.

Featuring Pininfarina-designed bodywork hand-built by Carrozzeria Scaglietti, the styling of the 328 was derived from the preceding 308 model and updated with an aerodynamically revised nose section and body-colored bumpers. This example comes finished in Rosso Corsa with a removable black roof panel. Details include fender-mounted Scuderia shields, a roof spoiler, side air intakes, pop-up headlights, and 16” 5-spoke wheels dressed in a set of Hankook Ventus V12 tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in black leather with matching door panels, carpeting, and Ferrari-branded floor mats. Amenities include a 5-speed gated shifter, MOMO steering wheel, Veglia instrumentation, power windows, mirrors, and door locks, air conditioning, an integrated K40 radar detector, and an upgraded Panasonic radio head. The seller reports that the air conditioning has been converted to R134 and confirms that all gauges and accessories remain functional.

Power comes from a transversely mounted 3.2L Tipo F105 V8 engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports a major service carried out in September of this year included timing and drive belts, a new water pump, thermostat, cooling hoses, clutch, battery, a tune-up, a service of the fuel injection system, and more.

This sale will include a clean title.

I don't know the seller, but I do own a car just like this one. I do my own repairs and know my car front to back. Every photo tells me a real GOOD story about this car. They did the maintenance and used the right tranny fluid, but didn't do the hoses behind the waterpump. OK, but that would not prevent me from buying this car. Look at all the gold triphosphate under the hood. It's all still GOLD, and that is a BIG tell as to how and where this car lived. All the rest of the car looks terrific. Bid what you think and see what happens. GL

I have purchased 3 porsches from this man. I will say I can only speak to my purchases. Those purchases were as described. I am a car enthusiast I am not one to post comments. I just wanted to speak of my transactions and look forward to purchasing more cars in the future. Everyone has different experiences with sellers and buyers.

@Carguy4fun in talks with pcarmarket right now keep me posted if your situation is resolved. He is a fast talker it’s been months with no resolution for me with promises unkept.

Hi All, I bought the 06 Aston Martin Vantage from this seller on this site, and I've been overall happy with my purchase. Do I think you should trust the seller? No, but you also shouldn't trust any used car salesman. You'll want to get an inspection done if you can't accept the risk of mechanical or cosmetic issues. Without an inspection, you should assume things need significant attention (which is often why they end up at auctions to begin with) and bid accordingly. In my case, the 06 Vantage had some obvious issues that a fully transparent seller would have disclosed (or a PPI would have found): both rear struts blown, needed new brakes/rotors on all corners, ancient power steering fluid that was also low, all door and hood shocks were blown, torn door seals, & ripped wiper blades. However, I paid a fair price and will enjoy fixing it up as a hobby. Again, I'm happy with my Vantage but others' results may vary. I'd buy from the seller again.

I purchased two cars from this seller in the last several weeks and I can say was very dissatisfied with both cars. Look them up under other listings next to user name. 1979 porsche 911sc Slantnose conversion and 1986 porsche 911 turbo look.
I had phone conversations Patrick dealership owner where I asked if there was any rust on the car and cond of paint. Upon receiving the car every panel has rust and the paint cond is terrible dry spray over entire car needs rust resoration and paint job none of this was ever mentioned and this is a dealer and car collector. If you look at the last comment on the sale of this car begodo pcar member asks for an update when the new buyer received the car because in his words( it is it either a diamond in the rough or a polished turd it was hacked together).
The 86 turbo look also has some rust and has quite a few issues not disclosed and needs a lot of work.
Initially the dealer has told me that this is an auction and sometimes he makes bad buys and just moves on. In an online auction that is across the country and one can’t examine the car you rely on the representative to give accurate information to make a good buying decision. This was not done or he did not look at the car. To schedule a PPI would take more than a week and I saw the car with days left so I called the owner for the phone ppi.
I am confident if I listed either car on this auction or any other auction with an accurate description it would not even get close to the numbers I paid.
That being said I’m pretty sure pcar market, Ebay, Bring a trailer do not want people that misrepresent cars as their integrity and trust would be affected and ultimately loose business.
As a result of a prior comment I see he is offering a buyback guarantee on the Ferrari. This was NOT offered to me..
Patrick the owner says he doesn’t want unhappy customers and he wants to make this right and he is reaching out to two other dealers who were apparently interested in the car but nothing yet.
I hope this was an oversight and he takes responsibility and gets my money returned.
I will update everyone when this issue has been resolved.

@dluxor1 I purchased a 2006 Noble M400 from seller months ago. Spoke to him on the phone, exchanged many texts/emails with him with questions about the car during the auction with no issues. I flew down and picked up the car in person and drove it 6 hours back home. Car ran great and was everything I expected based on all of my questions and viewing the pictures etc. I've spoke to him a couple of times since and have made offers on some of his other cars. I believe I bid on an AC Cobra he had listed months ago but I can't remember. I know I asked him a handful of questions about it during the auction and had a number in mind to bid to. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from him but like all online auctions, do your research and know where your comfort level is when buying a car sight unseen. Leave room for unknowns. This is a 60k mile 35 year old Ferrari. Nothing will be perfect and there will be some things that the buyer will probably find that aren't up to their standards but don't get int the way of the car being driven and enjoyed.

@prmnorton1 first of all pcarmarket would never disclose another user’s personal information so that is a lie again. After being burned by the seller I reached out to several people who have had dealings with the seller who have had very negative experiences. Like I said my goal here is save someone a lot of money, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS SELLER unless you are viewing it in person or have a very thorough inspection of everything on the car including the mechanical state, paint and bodywork. Do not trust the word of the seller.

@Wyatt911 which vehicles did you purchase? Just went through all the sellers previous listing you are no where to be found. Seems like the seller is having people write fake comments to save face….

Thank you for making the comment on the good purchases. I have had nothing but good positive experiences, Again this user/person HAS NOT purchased a car from me and again This car and all of my cars are welcome to a full PPI and or inspection. I will back this car 100%. And happy to write up a contract on some sort of buy back guarantee as well, sorry for these rouge comments from this user who I’ve been informed by pcar actually has a FALSE name registered and has literally NEVER MADE ANY PURCHASE on pcar , so I’m not sure what’s going on there , but if anybody has any other questions on the vehicle itself, please feel free to reach out, thanks

  • Wyatt911 (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

I have purchased three cars from this seller. Two of which has been very recent. All cars were as described. I can’t speak to other’s experience but I can say my experience has been very good.

  • PCARMARKET 2 years, 1 monthago

@Dluxor1 we do care and someone will reach out to discuss. With that being said this auction needs to stand on its own and bidders may perform a PPI prior to bidding if desired. Please allow someone to reach out during normal business hours. Thank you.

  • Dluxor1 (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

@PCARMARKET the seller is dishonest and neglecting to mention anything negative to pull top dollar out of the cars he is selling, the car he sold me looked good from a far but far from good.

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

@Dluxor1 again I looked at all my winning bidders and you were not one of them, so I would just suggest you reach out to Pcarmarket and get it straight with them but you did not purchase a vehicle for me, but if you have any questions pertaining to this particular vehicle, please let me know I’d be happy to answer, thanks

  • Dluxor1 (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

@prmnorton1 I am 100% certain I have the right person

  • Dluxor1 (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

@PCARMARKET I have reached out to you and provided the vehicle I have purchased from the seller as well as the description that did not disclose any of the condition issues with the car. (Photos provided) looking forward to a phone call with you would like to further discuss my experience with this seller. Thanks

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

Also, just to note…any and all my cars are welcome to PPI’s and or inspections. I stand behind all of my cars and listings 100%, I have never had any complaints or any problems, also feel free to direct message me If you have any specific questions about this or any other vehicle, I’ll be happy to respond promptly. Thank you again and thanks for viewing

  • PCARMARKET 2 years, 1 monthago

@Dluxor1 We at Pcarmarket are not pleased to hear of anyone having s bad experience with a seller. In addition sellers need to be honest and forthcoming when representing a vehicle. In the interest of buyers, our auctions last 7 days to provide ample time for a pre bid inspection which if there is concern with the seller is strongly advised.

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 2 years, 1 monthago

@Dluxor1 hi I’m not sure who you are. You may have me mistaken for somebody else but you’ve never bought any cars from me and I haven’t had anything but good sales and happy customers on every transaction, so maybe reach out to Pcarmarket, I think you have the wrong person. Thanks

  • Dluxor1 (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

BUYER BEWARE! This sellers descriptions are significantly inaccurate and he fails to mention actual condition and photos are taken at just the right angles to hide damage. There are several buyers who have been deceived by this seller me included. Working with pcarmarket to get this seller removed, stay away from this seller and save yourself tens of thousands.

@jspearin thank you, yeah it’s one of my favorites, that picture is from and during the major service when the engine is completely apart, I just had them take pictures and document everything while they were doing the service so you’ll see some other pictures in there with the engine open and apart as well, but everything has been put back together obviously and everything works perfectly. AC blows super cold heat works can be a daily driver for sure. Engine looks and sounds brand new, they really did an amazing job

  • jspearin (registered bidder) 2 years, 1 monthago

Great looking car with a recent major service but curious about what is missing in photo 66. Looks like a water pump maybe without a pulley or belt on it along with some disconnected hard lines. Any insight there?
