Derived from the Alfetta, the GTV6 featured a 2.5L V6 engine paired with a 5-speed transaxle and a unique De Dion Tube rear suspension. The GTV6 was sold in the United States from 1981 to 1986, and this final-year Alfa Romeo GTV6 is finished in Rosso Alfa over a tan leather interior. Reportedly garage-kept by the same family since new, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey. Click here to view the previous PCARMARKET listing.
Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the GTV6 was based upon the fastback Alfetta GT and featured a distinctive domed hood. This example is finished in Rosso Alfa and includes a sunroof, U.S.-market bumpers, a chin spoiler, and front fog lights. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. It rides on a set of factory 15″ Speedline alloy wheels dressed in Pirelli tires from 1991.
The cabin features deeply bolstered front seats trimmed in tan leather with matching rear seats and door panels. Accessories include a central tachometer, a cassette stereo, air conditioning, and power windows and door locks. The rear hatch struts have become weak with age and the seller reports the driver’s side window, door lock, and passenger turn signal are currently inoperable.
Up to 155 HP comes from a fuel-injected 2.5L V6 that drives the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. The GTV6 offers excellent weight distribution and employs double-wishbone front suspension paired with a De Dion Tube in the rear. The seller notes the car has received regular oil changes and was fitted with a new battery in March of 2022.
This sale will include a clean title.

Yes but is that actual mileage
Sold for $17,250
@Kwattsandco odometer is 30,403
Bid in the amount of $17,250
Reserve is off this car is going to sell today
The Carfax states 42,000 miles and the odometer has 30,000 showing. What is the mileage, has the odometer turned over? Is this 130,000 or 30,000 and will you sign an odometer statement reflecting true mileage?
Carfax says 42,000 miles and the odometer says 30,000? What is the discrepancy has the odometer turned over?

Any oil leaks, specifically head gasket? Could you take a look in the coolant reservoir for oil. Other then possible timing belt replacement, would one be able to drive this, as is, long distances?

Yes, it’s “BEGGING” for a valve adjustment. Original timing belt is a ticking time bomb. But I still LOVE IT!!! GLWTA!!!
Thank you for your comments
Is that the same startup video from the listing 3 years ago? It sounds great.
And the drivers side window and passenger side blinker still do not work?
I would think they would be easy fixes before putting up for auction.
I guess you didn't need either it in the 77 miles you've driven it- nice low milage car but surprised you didn't do the easy fixes, or maybe not easy.
