This 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser, part of the 60 Series produced between 1980 and 1990, combines the rugged off-road prowess of earlier models with enhanced comfort for everyday use and long-distance journeys. Powered by a 4.0-liter V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case, this luxuriously appointed 1985 Middle Eastern market example is finished in white over gray cloth upholstery. It features a hood ornament, fender flares, running boards, a trailer hitch, 15” wheels, power-operated door windows and locks, air conditioning, and more. Showing approximately 394 kilometers or just under 245k miles on the odometer, this FJ62 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia.
The FJ62 sports a rugged, utilitarian design, showcasing a boxy silhouette with large windows, a high roofline, and prominent fender flares. This example is finished in white and features a front bumper guard, hood ornament, running boards, quarter panel steps, a trailer hitch, and rear swing-out doors. It rides on 15” wheels wrapped in RxQuest tires in the front and Blacklion Voracio H/T in the rear, which carries 2017 date codes. The rear panels were previously repainted, and there are various dings, nicks, and scratches, dents on the bumpers and running boards, a misaligned hood, and areas of peeled and scratched finish on the side mirrors. The window seals are cracked, the spare tire shows signs of dry rot, and there is some rust on the underside components. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior is trimmed in gray cloth upholstery and features split-folding second-row seats and folding rear jump seats. It includes power-operated windows and door locks, sliding rear windows, and air conditioning for both the front and rear. The seats exhibit creases and wear, with a loose seam on the driver’s seat bolster and sagging front seatback nets. The dashboard has cracked material around the speaker holes and several round puncture marks, while the tape “eject” lever is cracked. The headliner has blemishes, the floor carpets are worn, and the vehicle shows general interior aging. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order.
Power comes from a carbureted 4.0-liter 3F inline-six, which delivers a factory-rated 150 HP and 210 lb.-ft of torque to the rear or all four wheels through an H55F 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. It has solid front and rear axles with leaf spring suspension. The seller reports a recent tune-up that included replacing the shock absorbers and spark plugs and flushing the radiator.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a luxury trim that was only produced in low numbers for the Middle East market.”

@FJhokie yes your right i should've removed them but truck looks cool with them I know and sure there is no rust under them. Thanks
I think the wheel well flares really hurt the value of this very cool rig. If I was bidding I would be very curious on the conditions of metal under the flares. I suspect the majority of US buyers will want to remove them so it would help them judge the effort level to get that area reconditioned. Good luck on the auction.
