Produced from 1971 to 1987, the Rolls-Royce Corniche I was named after the scenic Grand Corniche touring roads of the French Cote d'Azur. It featured a 6.75-liter V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. This 1985 example is one of 3,239 Rolls-Royce Corniche convertibles built in total and comes finished in Masons Black over Tan Connolly leather. It is equipped with a tan soft top & tonneau cover and was originally delivered new to New York. Benefitting from approximately $15k in recent servicing, this Corniche is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
Finished in Masons Black, this Corniche retains its original tan soft top and tonneau cover. It features color-matched bumpers and mirrors, chrome door handles, and chrome trim around the wheel arches and along the body. It rides on factory 15” wheels with model-specific wheel covers. The seller notes that painted pinstripes have been added, and the front left & right rear markers and lightbulbs have been changed. Additionally, a week-long paint correction and detail were performed. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with an accident-free CARFAX report.
The handcrafted cabin is upholstered in Tan Connolly leather with wood trim adorning the dashboard and door panels, complete with brown carpets and tan piping. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel, analog and digital instruments, a stereo, power windows and locks, climate control, and locking storage for the included cocktail requisites. The seller adds that the leather has been reconditioned, and the door cap trims have been refinished. Additionally, the window drives were lubricated, the power door lock mechanisms were replaced, and the radio was repaired.
Powered by a hand-built 6.75-liter L410I V8 engine with an aluminum alloy block and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, the Corniche sends up to 237 HP to its rear wheels by way of a GM-sourced 3-speed Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission. @Bonefish I posted the service invoice from the work that we did to get the car ready for sale. The Car received a thorough inspection and we did all the work that it needed. You can see that one of the brake pumps was replaced. The brakes in the car are excellent and this spheres do not need any work to them.
What''s the condition of the spheres. Do they need replenishing?

Welcome everyone to our gorgeous 1985 Rolls-Royce Corniche convertible. This is a 3 owner Corniche. Originally sold in New-York, its original owner had it until 2004. It was then sold to its second owner in Florida, at the time it had 22,000 miles. When we acquired this Corniche, it had 29,800 miles. It had sat in a collection unused for a few years. We had a thorough inspection and serviced performed to make this car turnkey for its new owner. $15,000 was recently spent to bring this car up to date. This Corniche drives are beautiful as it looks. Although we monitor this auction, we are no on here 24/7. If you have any questions that require an immediate response, or you would like to schedule an appointment to inspect it, just click on "contact seller" and we will get back to you ASAP. Good luck to all of the bidders.
