The car benefits from a clutch replacement in December 2022 and shows two decades of ownership history in Massachusetts prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition. With approximately 61k miles on the odometer, this 911 Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Georgia.
This 911 is finished in Grand Prix White with a retractable black soft top and matching boot cover. Equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels with body-colored centers and anodized outer lips. The car rides on a set of Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. The seller indicates the maintenance records show some paintwork performed and slight corrosion is present on the undercarriage. The cabin is appointed with power-adjustable Cancan Red leather seats as well as matching door panels, carpeting, and a center console. Accessories include a black leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, an alarm system, power windows and door locks, air conditioning, cruise control, an integrated K40 radar detector system, and an aftermarket Pioneer cassette stereo which is currently inoperable.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle. The seller indicates the clutch was replaced along with an oil service in December 2022 and a brake fluid flush was completed in April 2023. This is one of the most classic cars of all time, an air-cooled 911 from the right in the middle of the 1980s, the best body style.
