This European-market (RoW) 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is the subject of a custom backdate restoration by Sportscars Holland. Finished in Aquamarine Blue, it wears classic long-hood bodywork with racing-style accessories and features a black RS-style interior with fixed-back bucket seats, lightweight door panels, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, and a half roll cage. Power comes from a revised 3.2-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Completed in Europe about two years ago with approximately 5k kilometers driven since, this 911 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina.
This 911 has been modified with a backdate long-hood nose section, a custom vented front bumper, and an RS-style rear bumper. The exterior is finished in Aquamarine Blue and decorated with chrome window moldings, black Porsche script side stripes, vented rear quarter windows, dual chrome mirrors, drilled door handles, a twin-grille engine cover, 911R-style rear window bars, rubber hood and decklid straps, tow hooks, a center hood-mounted fuel filler, and dual center-mounted tailpipes. The car rides on Maxilite 15” Fuchs-style wheels dressed in 2019-dated Toyo Proxes R888R tires measuring 195/55 in front and 235/50 out back.
Inside, this 911 features a custom black RS-style interior with fixed-back bucket seats, lightweight RS-style carpets and door panels, a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, a half roll cage, and a custom orange tachometer. Other accessories include power windows, a sunroof, and a heater.
Factory-rated at 231 HP, the European-spec 3.2-liter flat-six engine sends power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle. The seller reports the engine and gearbox were overhauled and revised during the restoration.
This sale will include a clean title.
