Now available for auction is this 1985 Nissan 300ZX finished in Wine Metallic over a burgundy velour interior. The third generation of Nissan’s celebrated Z-Car sports model, the completely redesigned Z31 chassis was introduced with a new series of 3.0L V6 engines in 1984 and offered under the “300ZX” name for the North American market. This 5-speed 1985 example is said to have been meticulously maintained by its original owner and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing approximately 63k miles showing on the odometer.
This 300ZX comes finished in Wine Metallic (032) and features a distinctive glass rear hatch, removable translucent T-tops, and semi-concealed pop-up headlamps. The factory 15" aluminum wheels come fitted with a set of Cooper tires. The seller notes the car had always been kept beneath a car cover and in a garage by the original owner. Some signs of road-going wear are present as well as dings on the passenger-side rear quarter panel. The nose has also been refinished to address stone chips, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The classic burgundy velour interior features matching carpeting and floor mats with embroidered logos. Accessories include power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, a digital clock, and gauges for oil pressure and battery voltage mounted in the center dashboard. An upgraded Pioneer Bluetooth head unit has been installed and the seller reports all features and accessories to be working properly.
The fuel-injected VG30E 3.0L V6 engine delivers as much as 160 HP and 173 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Four-wheel disc brakes come standard along with a McPherson strut front and semi-trailing arm rear suspension setup. CARFAX shows the rear shock absorbers and lower ball joints replaced in 2017 at 66k miles and the seller reports a full service has been carried out in preparation for the next owner.
This sale will include a clean title. Cared for by only one owner, this classic 300ZX is ready for a new driver to get behind the wheel.

I have nothing in the paperwork to tell me when the timing chain was changed.
When was the timing belt last replaced?
Hi Billy,

Hi All,
I am selling this great 300ZX oozing with the 1980s: burgundy over burgundy, pop up headlamps, T-tops, electric antenna, etc. The car runs and drives perfectly. Everything works and it has great pep. Brakes are good and AC blows cold.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Happy bidding!
