Sold new from Mechanicsburg Porsche in Pennsylvania, this 1984 Porsche 944 comes finished in Guards Red featuring optional leather Sports Seats, stabilizer bars, a rear window wiper, and removable electric-tilt sunroof. Inside, the black partial leather interior features optional leather-trimmed Sports Seats as well as a four-spoke sport steering wheel, sunroof, and original Blaupunkt Monterey digital cassette radio. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, electric heated mirrors, a lockable glovebox, a four-speaker sound system, and an electric rear window defogger. Some cracks are noted on the dashboard and the seller reports all accessories and instrumentation to be fully functional.
This 944 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.5L inline-four engine paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle, delivering up to 150 HP and 142 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. @stim4u not at all, it is not been replaced. This car is completely original. Back then (1984 and earlier) Porsche manufactured them with 5 digits odometers, I believe models 1988 and further have the 6 digits odometers and then the digital odometers came along.
@chrisberger17 Must of them were replaced on Late 2017 by the previous owner along with the time belt. I will upload new pictures to give a better look to it.
Hood Insulation Pads were replaced a month ago.
define 5 digit odometer? was it replaced? thanks
How old are the rubber hoses in the engine compartment? What is the condition of the rubber seals around the windows? Any cracks?
Welcome to this conversation and process.
It will be our pleasure to answer and chat with you all throughout the auction.
