We are pleased to offer this 1984 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe finished in Ruby Red Metallic over a Burgundy leather interior. One of 804 Rest of World (RoW) examples built for the model year, this 1984 Turbo came factory optioned with a limited-slip differential, leather Sport Seats, and an electric sunroof. It was imported to the U.S. in 1984 after being EPA approved with the addition of emissions equipment. The car features period accessories including multi-piece BBS wheels, a Blaupunkt under-dash equalizer, and an original Blaupunkt radio. It was acquired by the current owner in 1995 at 31,583 miles and has remained under their care ever since while always being garage-kept and routinely serviced. Having covered just over 38k miles from new, this beautifully appointed 930 Turbo is being offered for auction by its longtime owner out of Kentucky.
This Turbo came factory finished in the special-order color of Ruby Red Metallic and features European-spec side markers and bumperettes. Some signs of road-going wear are present and a few small chips have been touched up by the previous owner. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This 930 rides on a set of vintage multi-piece BBS RS wheels with polished lips and gold painted centers. These wheels remain dressed in the same BF Goodrich Comp T/A tires that were mounted at the time of the seller’s purchase in 1995. New tires are recommended for installation.
Inside, this 930 showcases a Burgundy interior with matching carpets and factory leather Sport Seats. The dashboard is said to have been reupholstered in black prior to the seller’s ownership. A period Blaupunkt equalizer is mounted beneath the dashboard and the original Blaupunkt Washington SQR32 radio remains in place. Some wear is noted on the front seats and the seller reports a small tear at the base of the driver’s seat. All gauges and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
This 930 carries an RoW-spec 3.3L turbocharged flat-six engine factory rated at 300 HP. The rear wheels are driven through a 4-speed manual transmission with a factory-optioned limited-slip differential. EPA records show the car was fitted with emissions control equipment including a catalytic converter, air pump, evaporative canister, and lambda control unit. Routine maintenance is said to have been kept up to date throughout the current ownership and records show a major engine-out service to have been completed by German Motor Cars in 1995 at 29,942 miles including a rebuild of the transmission. Some invoices are provided for reference in the photo gallery along with images of the underside.

@Porsche930 can you please comment on pic #30? Is there touch-up work done a few inches over the key hole?
@byeretirementmoney no accidents. Only paint work is mentioned in description which is a very few small rock chips on hood and one on top of left rear fender that was touched up with Porsche brand paint touch up bottle. I got the bottle when I purchased the car but never used it myself.

The hanging Blaupunkt EQ is amazing. I am usually not a fan of BBS RS on Porsches but they look absolutely fantastic on this 930. Great color, car looks well-driven but also well-maintained. I also worry about lack of pro service, but the mileage is so low that I don't think it really matters yet. I'd be slightly worried about dried up hoses and belts but otherwise looks great.
@JNasty the car has not required any type of work that would be done at an outside shop since I have owned it. Only routine oil changes, which I have done myself.
@seller - no services since 1995?
