Up for auction is this custom built 1984 Porsche 934/5 tribute race car finished in White over a lightweight racing interior. Starting life out as a standard 1984 Porsche 930, this Turbo began its transformation into a 934/5 race car with its current owner in 2012. Outfitted with over $100k worth of track mandated safety features and top of the line performance upgrades including a fully rebuilt motor with a K29 turbocharger, this tribute has an impressive claimed output of 690 HP at 1.0 bar of boost. Said to be fully prepared to hit the track and compete in historic racing events, this 934/5 is now being offered for auction by its current owner of 10 years in Italy with approximately 2300 kilometers (1430 miles) showing on the odometer.
This 1984 example was fitted with an AIR 934/5 fiberglass body kit before being completely refinished in White during the build process (detailed images can be found within the photo gallery). The wheel hubs were also converted in order to accommodate the center lock Monodado wheels which come dressed in Toyo 888R tires (335/30ZR18 rear and 245/45ZR16 front). An extra set of wheels with slick racing tires will also accompany the sale.
Inside, the cabin has been stripped out for weight reduction and optimized for racing with the addition of a Sassa homologated roll bar, Tillet carbon fiber lollipop seats, a Fabcar shifter and a Momo racing steering wheel.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.3 L flat-six engine which is mated to a 4-speed manual Porsche gearbox with a racing limited slip differential. Offering a claimed output of 690 HP at 1.0 bar of boost, this 934/5 has been modified with the following performance upgrades:
The seller states that there has been very minimal use since the time of the rebuild with most of the driving being back and forth between car shows. Having been routinely started-up to maintain good running order, this 934/5 is reported to be in race-ready condition with new brake pads and rotors recently installed.
The sale of this race car will include a set of 2 keys and an assigned race passport as well as an extra set of wheels and tires. If you have always aspired to own a vintage Porsche race car, this beautifully executed 934/5 tribute is not to be missed.

Bid in the amount of $5,000
@rreasen no idea about the shipping costs
Can vehicle be shipped to US? Do you have any idea of the cost or process to do so. Sorry, you can't race anymore. But you still have wonderful memories.
@pierotaccari I mean this car was made for racing not as a cafe racer( even if I always had great success)
@rreasen .. the car was ready to race in 2013 Infortunally I had an accident whit motorbike so I can't race such "physical" car the right way.. in these years I just manteined it to the highest shape (I spent more then 2000euros for special fuel lines to resist the aggressive high octane gasoline but Its not my way doing poseur :-)
I hate to see you sell this car as she is so beautiful. A masterpiece!
Bid in the amount of $1,250
The car Is "streetlegal" I mean for short travels. Normallly the car was totally rebuilded With specs accordingly to compete in Italian Historic championship
As you see for race documents.. for physical problems I changed my planes and the car was used with a set of road tyres as a show car . Since then the car has done about 2000km just from one car show to another
Hi I' m Piero the owner of the car.. after 11 years I sell it with regret.. feel free to ask everything about it.. cause I know all about "the quality of the parts and the time spent on this project done without economy
Best Regards Piero
