This 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe has been modified with wide steel fender flares, Porsche 964 Turbo-style bumpers, a 993 Turbo-style spoiler, and 18” 993 Turbo-look wheels. The car is finished in Amazon Green Metallic over a Chocolate interior and features an upgraded engine performance chip, a short-shift kit, a dual sport muffler, adjustable sway bars, and LED lighting. It was registered in Hawaii from 1991 to 2023 and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona while showing approximately 110k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera was refinished in the 1990s Porsche color of Amazon Green Metallic and customized with wide steel fender flares, fiberglass 964 Turbo-style bumpers, a front lip spoiler, aero mirrors, and a 993 Turbo rear spoiler. Other modifications include front brake duct inserts, LED lighting, a center tail panel reflector with Porsche lettering, and 18” 993 Turbo-look wheels. The seller notes the paintwork was completed over 31 years ago and remains in good overall condition apart from an imperfection on the right rear quarter panel. The CARFAX report shows the vehicle was declared a total loss by an insurance company after fire damage in 2021. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The Chocolate brown and black partial leather interior is equipped with electrically adjustable seats, a 930 Turbo three-spoke steering wheel, a short shifter with a carbon fiber gear knob, and an aftermarket aluminum handbrake lever, door handles, and pedal covers. Other features include power windows, an electric sunroof, and air conditioning. The seller states the clock is inoperable and the A/C compressor and hoses need to be replaced.
This 911 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine which has been modified with an aftermarket performance chip, a K&N air filter, polished intake manifolds, SSI heat exchangers, and a dual-exit sport muffler. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed 915 manual transmission. The Bilstein shock absorbers have been replaced and the suspension has been upgraded with adjustable front and rear sway bars. The seller states a major engine out service was completed within the last 100 miles including new oil lines and valve adjustments along with a rebuild of the transmission and new CV axle bearings and boots.
This sale will include a spare tire, an air pump, and a clean Arizona title.

@garynett Picture number 83 shows a total loss Carfax the last picture 87 shows the Geico insurance company adjuster cell phone picture totaling the car. Some were I believe there is a copy of the Hawaii title it did not show to be a salvaged title. I am told it is a lengthy process but you can’t get CarFax to reverse a report.
@garynett Total loss title in Arizona is labeled as a salvage title which it does not have. IT WAS AN ENGINE FIRE. See pictures at bottom
Bid in the amount of $32,600
@garynett I would think the same but in the text of the listing above, it states "clean Arizona title". PCM folks-- any comments/clarifications?
@SILOmike It is not a clean title if it is a total loss title.

@Chuckanatr can you please post the invoice details for the recent engine out service?
Looking at pic 67- 69, there appears to be frame welding where the passenger front control arm attaches. Which shop did this work and what’s the history there? Is the tub straight or is that an unknown?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@Chuckanatr -- understood, just seems unusual.
@SILOmike I posted pictures from Geico of the engine fire. It happened during Covid. Hawaii had the strongest lockdown. The insurance company would not even come out and look at it. If you’ll notice the Carfax shows 10 days afterwards the car is registered back on the street the owner retains the car usually salvage titles are issued by insurance company.
Bid in the amount of $14,000
I'm not an insurance expert, but curious as to how it could have a clean title after the "total loss" fire incident. Would think it would have a salvage or rebuilt title?
@jdavison0815 I just posted a picture of the backseats in the up position
@alessio A stock exhaust system can be bolted back on it with a catalytic converter.
@alessio No if you buy classic car insurance it is exempt.

@luis.seneriz other than the fact the air conditioning is not working I would not hesitate to drive it to Maine.
Thank you for the video, the finish of the car looks great. Would you have any concerns as the car is right now, driving it from there to Texas?. I personally like to fly and drive , great way to get to know the car and start putting a list together of what to do next.
@luis.seneriz yes here you go

@jdavison0815 The car was originally purchased in 1991 in Hawaii. It was a silver car already converted the way you see it in Amazon green. The car traded hands between three friends. I was told she was driven to the local club’s restaurant and motor vehicle. Yes it was an engine fire I will post pictures of the damage. The incident happened during Covid lock down. Hawaii’s lockdown was so strong the adjusters did not even come out and look at the car. It was determined through photographs back-and-forth. If you noticed it was re-registered 10 days after settlement.
Can we have a driving video please?.
Do you know the history in more detail? Total damage of fire in 2021, but original paint from 31 years ago? Did just the engine catch fire?
Bid in the amount of $993
@Chuckanatr The 993 Wing flows nicely with the 930 fenders. I would think its factory, May even look better
@Harbormotorcars @Carwaymotors it was a fun project G body 930 turbo fenders and rockers look better with 964 and 993 touch’s
993 Turbo Wing + Wheels + 964 Front End + G-series Rear End, Interior and Engine. I gotta say I am kind of into it.
