The interior is upholstered in Navy leather, with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting. The interior is described to remain in excellent condition, in addition to the convertible top. Amenities include an aftermarket Alpine CDA-9887 head unit, full power accessories, and an optional factory-equipped 930 Turbo steering wheel. The seller confirms all instrumentation and accessories to be in proper working order.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine that sends up to 207 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 915 manual transmission. The suspension was upgraded 911 Turbo “green” Bilstein strut assemblies, in addition to optional 911 Turbo brakes finished in black with white Porsche script which provide ample stopping power. When the widebody conversion was done in 2018, the entire engine was said to be overhauled, and an Electromotive TECgt fuel management system was installed along with a custom quad-tipped exhaust system. @Breakthru 1975 and older are exempted. But no check engine light or warning lights of kind for that matter.. California does has one of the largest Porsche community. I’m sure you can have it out in California.
Unfortunately it's 1975 and older. Darn.
Dynamicmotorgroup (seller)- Hello, you’ve mentioned “a small dent in the hood, a 2-inch wide paint chip in the front bumper, and a small chip on the passenger side front fender”. Could you provide a closeup picture of these imperfections, and is this a steel or fiberglass conversion?
Bid in the amount of $30,161
@Breakthru definitely check with CA DMV to verify but I believe 25 year old vehicles with historic license plates are exempted from Smog testing.
New video content has been added to the listing page.
Any idea if this would pass CA smog?
@oceangreen59 yes it does have matching numbers engine and transmission. It’s a 28k mile Porsche. We bought it based on condition, low miles and the over all look and presentation. It’s a quality build. 10 out of 10 times you can see a build by picture or in person and can tell if it’s been done correctly. Getting the stance correct is the most difficult part of a Widebody conversion and this one definitely has one best stance.
Thanks for showing me the car Saturday! Nice car
I really like the looks of this car and I don’t mind at all the mods. Anyway no records, no
Driving video. I’m looking but may stay on the fence.
Hi is this a Matching # Engine ? There are No Records of any service work ? This is temping but i think i may have to pass .The history is a problem for me ..Good luck Thanks
@V12308911 very minor, upgraded fuel management system, custom quad exhaust and headers by Fabspeed Motorsport.
Any power upgrades done to the motor?
@Carguy4fun engine out service on these Porsches are quite necessary, Older parts do tend to wear over time regardless of miles..
Why would the owner rebuild an engine with only 28000 miles. Any records available for the work performed

Do to privacy of previous ownership we were not able to accumulate additional info. It is a very a beautiful build and an amazing stance. It is a very quality build cab based on our inspection. You can request additional info by clicking the ( contact seller ) tab above the comment section.
Dynamicmotorgroup: Did the current owner do the body conversion and the engine work? If so, where are the records? This is an extremely nice car but the lack of records is certainly holding me back from bidding.

@Idenkr yes absolutely the car can be viewed in person, click the contact Seller tab and send a message with your info to schedule a date and time. Thank you.

@Derege 28k since new. Engine out service was done about 3 years ago, same time the pervious owner decide to go with a new fuel management system.
Why overhaul a 1984 Porsche 911 motor with 28,614 miles on it . With regular oil changes this motor runs forever . Gotta scratch my head .
G50 trans came out in 1987 , how does this 1984 have a G50 ?
Is the mileage of 28k afterthe engine overhaul?
