We are pleased to present this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera custom. Acquired by Makellos Classics in 2017, this 911 had previously been upgraded with a 3.4L twin-plug flat-six engine which was subsequently treated to a top-end rebuild and reseal. The car was then refinished in its rare original color of Dark Blue and modified with a ducktail rear spoiler, modern style projector headlights, upgraded sway bars, Bilstein coilovers, Fifteen52 Outlaw wheels, and a custom full interior with leather, Alcantara, and houndstooth upholstery. Nicely executed with impeccable attention to detail, this one-off custom 911 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
During the build process in 2020, this Carrera was completely refinished in its original color of Dark Blue (Dunkelblau), a rare and highly sought-after nonmetallic shade of navy blue. All new rubber seals were installed at this time and the window frame was sent out to be professionally brushed and anodized. A Getty Design ducktail rear spoiler was also added along with electrically operated Aero mirrors, removable Porsche side graphics, and 9Eleven projector headlights. The aftermarket bumpers were installed by a previous owner and were refinished along with the rest of the car. The full exterior has been preserved under a layer of clear paint protection film, additional images are provided in the photo gallery. CARFAX shows minor damage to have occurred to the rear end in 2014 which the previous owner states to have been limited to the rear bumper. This 911 rides on a set of Fifteen52 Outlaw 001 wheels measuring 16”x7” front and 16”x8” rear with Dunlop Direzza tires.
Inside, the cabin has been completely redone with new black leather and Alcantara upholstery along with classic square weave carpeting. The upgraded Recaro bucket seats were rebuilt and customized with houndstooth fabric centers and deviated blue stitching. Other details include an Alcantara-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, blue seatbelts, Rennline aluminum floorboards, a WEVO short shifter, an Autopower Street Sport roll bar, and a Blaupunkt Bremmen Bluetooth radio with new speakers. All gauges and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
Under previous ownership, the original engine was bored out to a 3.4L displacement and upgraded with twin-plug heads, MSD ignition, Doherty DC20 reground cams, and a Steve Wong performance chip. The rear wheels are driven by way of a factory 5-speed 915 manual gearbox. The suspension has been recently upgraded with Bilstein shocks from FVD Brombacher and coils from Elephant Racing along with 935-style rear spring plates, and larger front and rear sway bars. Within the last two years, the seller performed a top-end rebuild and reseal of the engine and there have been two oil changes carried out since as well as a valve adjustment.
Accompanied by a clean title, this beautiful 911 custom awaits its next owner.

@550bryan as it sits it is not smog legal but we have gotten it to pass smog for the previous owner using original Carrera exhaust
Beautiful 911, love the car. I assume with the stated mods it is not smog legal in Calif?

I didn’t meant to bid 100k against myself! Sorry first time using this platform. Please can you cancel my bid for 100k PCar and keep the 75k one (and I may choose to increase later!) cheers.
Hey all. I'm the owner of the car and worked with Makellos on the build. I'm happy to answer any questions as well. On the paint, after we had it repainted I took it to a shop called Modern Image for the full body PPF and ceramic coat.
@ Tron5000 the name of the body shop was Cato motorcars they are a local body shop that only works on classic German cars.
Where did you get this painted?
@luis.seneriz thank you, we did not put this car on a dyno so we do not know what the HP is.
@Lottacars And the bid for 100k was one minute before the bid for 75k. Depreciation has set in I guess.
@nbb33 good one
@Lottacars ?

I don’t understand how the same bidder bid 100k and then 75k?
