This 1984 Land Rover 110 has undergone a comprehensive restoration featuring a modern 300TDI turbodiesel engine and extensive cosmetic and modern upgrades. Refinished in two-tone black and orange over a reupholstered black leather interior, this long-wheelbase example is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, an external skeleton cage with roof rack and auxiliary lighting, a winch-equipped front bumper, an updated dash and gauge cluster, a touchscreen media system, and more. This Land Rover 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Vermont.
As part of its restoration, this example was refinished in black with orange accents on the hood, roof, and rear swing-out door. A custom body kit features widened fender flares, extended wheel arches, and integrated side steps. Additional details include a black front grille, a winch-mounted front bumper, metal window guards, a full external skeleton cage, a rear ladder, and a roof rack with auxiliary LED lighting. The seller reports minor dings, blemishes, and imperfections throughout, with areas of surface rust visible on the window guards and roof rack. It rides black-finished aftermarket wheels wrapped in Maxxis Wormdrive A/T tires, with a matching spare mounted to the swing-out door. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been reupholstered in diamond-stitched black leather with orange contrast stitching, extending to the door panels and headliner. Seating consists of two front bucket seats, a rear bench, and two inward-facing fold-down jump seats in the cargo area. The dashboard was replaced during the restoration and fitted with a newer gauge cluster, and a wire-mesh partition separates the rear compartment. A touchscreen media system has been added along with an air conditioning unit, which the seller notes requires periodic recharging. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order.
Power comes from a 300TDI turbodiesel inline-four that replaced the factory 2.5-liter engine during the restoration. All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The suspension features large coil springs, and stopping power is facilitated by front disc and rear drum brakes. The seller notes that routine maintenance has been performed by a reputable local 4x4 shop.
This sale will include a spare tire, an AlliSport heater core, and a Vermont registration.
The seller would like you to know: “The Defender gets used, driven and enjoyed. It has some blemishes and cosmetic flaws earned from its many adventures. Load up everything you could possibly want to carry and head out into the wilderness with piece of mind you'll make it there and back without any doubts.”

@Chiro911 There’s diamond plate installed on both sills and other than some slight surface corrosion and worn off paint, they’re solid.
Rust on door sills and bottom of doors? In some of the pictures it definitely looks like it but want to confirm. Thank you
@Oddestball the Defender spent a most of its life in the Baltic states before being imported.

Hey everyone, I'm excited to see this defender go to a new home! I'm here and happy to answer any questions you might have, I've been working on, driving and enjoying Land Rovers for the past 10 years and this one has one of the most clean frames I've seen to date! It's been an absolute treat, albeit bittersweet to see it go. Cheers and happy bidding
