Up for auction is this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet presented in Slate Blue Metallic over a Blue leather interior. Marking the first iteration of the 3.2 Carrera, this 1984 Cabriolet highlights chromed 15” factory Fuchs wheels, a 5-speed manual transmission and a factory optional rear seat delete. With approximately 94k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera is now being offered in excellent running order by its owner of 10 years in New York.
The factory specified Slate Blue Metallic paint is noted to be in good overall condition with some dings and blemishes throughout the finish (detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the photo gallery). The factory 15” Fuchs wheels were professionally chromed, and the seller will also be including an extra set of colored center crests. Other modifications include red painted brake calipers and removable chrome headlight grilles. The blue cabriolet top is shown to be in great shape and the seller confirms that the matching canvas boot cover will also be included with the sale.
Inside, the Blue leather interior is reported to be in good condition for its age with some typical signs of wear. An aftermarket Alpine radio has been installed and all gauges, electrical components and accessories are said to be fully functional. The hood and decklid struts need to be replaced and the driver’s side door check is broken; however, a brand-new replacement piece will also be included. Factory options selected for this example include automatic speed control, steering wheel with elevated hub and a rare rear seat delete with storage cubbies.
Power is derived from an air-cooled 3.2 L flat six engine which sends 207 HP stock to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission. Green Bilstein shocks are equipped and performance modifications include a front strut tower brace and an upgraded Dansk muffler. All basic service is reported to be up to date and the seller confirms this 911 to be in solid driving condition.
The sale of this 911 will include 2 keys, owners’ books, a toolkit, extra center caps, seat covers, a cabriolet top cover, mirrors cover bras, a custom made roll bar, an assortment of spare parts and some service records. If you’re looking to get into a nicely configured air cooled Cabriolet, this 1985 Carrera offers an excellent opportunity.

Has this car only been driven ~1,000 miles in the past 10 years by the current owner? How's the AC? How much records do you have? Any videos?
