This 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 is a South American-market example that was imported to the U.S. from Venezuela by the previous owner in 2018. It was subsequently treated to a full restoration by TotalCruiser of Miami, including a rebuild of the 4.2-liter inline-six engine and a 5-speed manual transmission swap. The exterior was refinished in beige with contrasting side decals, and the cabin has been redone with brown vinyl and striped tan cloth upholstery. The truck also features Dynamat sound insulation, an upgraded Rockford Fosgate sound system, a rearview camera, a Sony Touchscreen head unit, air conditioning, a 2.5” Old Man Emu suspension lift kit, an 80-Series Land Cruiser steering box, a Performance Distributors D.U.I. distributor, a 2-speed transfer case, manual-locking front hubs, and chrome 15” wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. Acquired by the seller earlier in 2025, this restored and tastefully upgraded 60-Series Land Cruiser is now being offered for auction out of South Carolina.

This Land Cruiser was disassembled and refinished in beige during the restoration in 2018. The exterior features contrasting black, brown, and orange side decals, chrome bumpers and trim pieces, dual chrome mirrors, Koito H4 headlamps, a power antenna, a rear window wiper, a split folding tailgate, and chrome 15” wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The cabin has been lined with Dynamat sound insulation and redone with brown vinyl upholstery accented by striped tan cloth inserts on the seats and door panels. Accessories include manually adjustable front bucket seats, a folding rear bench seat, a brown three-spoke steering wheel, brown seatbelts, manual roll-up windows, a center console storage bin, cup holders, a locking glovebox, air conditioning, and a Sony touchscreen head unit with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a rearview camera. The sound system has been upgraded with a Rockford Fosgate 5-channel amplifier, subwoofer, and speakers. A new speedometer was installed during the restoration, and the original gauge is included in the sale.

Rated at 135 HP and 210 lb-ft of torque, the carbureted 4.2-liter inline-six engine was rebuilt during the restoration, including new pistons, bearings, belts, hoses, a new oil pump, oil cooler, alternator, carburetor, radiator, fan clutch, and intake and exhaust manifolds. It drives the rear or all four wheels through a replacement 5-speed H55F manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, a 2.5” Old Man Emu suspension lift kit, an Old Man Emu steering stabilizer, an 80-Series land Cruiser steering box, and Performance Distributors D.U.I. distributor. Other items replaced during the restoration include the fuel tank, voltage regulator, ignition switch, and clutch kit.
