This 1983 Porsche 930 Turbo is a Rest of World (RoW) market example finished in rare Pearl White Metallic paint over tan leather upholstery. It features a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine, a 4-speed manual transaxle, an electric sunroof, air conditioning, optional Sport Seats, a rear window wiper, front and rear spoilers, front fog lights, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels. This 930 is said to have been originally sold in the U.S. as a gray-market car and was eventually imported to Belgium where it is now being offered for auction showing approximately 92k miles on the odometer.
The 930 Turbo features wider fenders than a contemporary 911, a front chin spoiler, and a rear Tea Tray spoiler. This example came factory-finished in Pearl White Metallic (947) and equipped with front fog lights, headlamp washers, side marker lights, a fender-mounted antenna, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, slim RoW-spec bumperettes, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels dressed in Continental tires. The seller believes the car was refinished at some point under prior ownership and the exterior remains in very good overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Equipped with optional front Sport Seats, the interior features tan leather upholstery and matching carpets. Accessories include a black leather three-spoke steering wheel, power windows, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Alpine stereo. The seller describes the interior to be very well preserved with all gauges and accessories working properly.
The turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 300 HP and 304 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle. Stopping power comes from cross-drilled disc brakes at each corner.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a registration.

@Cozad1955 please check my comment below about the transport costs
@The_emyrean_._ hi, you're anticipating very high costs. Last September we sold a car to a us customer and he paid 2550$ for the transport to the West Coast. With all the extra costs (terminal handling charges, clearance, fuel surcharge, bill of lading) he add another 1000$ maximum. So total price, everything included, was 3500$, which is way less expensive than your estimation. Of course container costs vary from month to month, that's why I'm not able to give an exact price right now but it should be in the same area of price. To conclude, this price is quite ok to transport a car from Europe to the US
@StickyBlackice yes numbers are matching. Concerning the drivetrain we don't know because we don't have the full history of the car
I’m sorry if I missed this, but numbers matching?
And has any of drivetrain been overhauled?
Thank you
@mecanicimport , Thank you for getting back to me.
@Giorgio1967 no we don't have it
@mecanicimport , Thank you for the update
Do you have the original steering wheel ?
Bid in the amount of $60,500

Being completely transparent, the risk on costs for import and duties fees in this climate is pretty terrifying. This car is going to have to be priced extremely competitively - anticipating $8k to $18k in additional import fees and transporting in addition to the auction site fee (that’s to the east coast). Lack a service records and almost guaranteed rebuild required at 100k miles and this one is looking dangerous despite the gorgeous paint job. More transparency on how the car is getting here and potential total costs less shipping him the port would inspire some confidence in this one.
@Cozad1955 Hi, I'm still waiting for a feedback from our transport company to give you the best price range for the transport. But of course we have all the necessary documents to ship the car to the US, this is not a problem. However, the transport and the customs clearance in the US will be at your costs
@Cozad1955 no the car doesn't have the EPA sticker (we don't have the same requirements in Europe)
@cozad1955 I was going to ask the same question about shipping documents and approximate cost to the southeast coast of US.
does the car have the EPA sticker attesting that it meets the EPA requirements? could you post a close up picture?
getting back to shipping; does your company supply all the necessary documents to clear the car through customs in the US? roughly , what would be the cost to get the car to the US and clear customs? Thanks. SCC
@mecanicimport ; thanks.
@mecanicimport Thank you
@Cozad1955 hi, there is indeed a small tear in the headline on the driver's side.
To ship the car back to the US we can assist you. We work with a forwarding company who's taking care of the entire process and that helps us with the needed documents (we've been working with them for years now) and we woud take care of bringing the car to the port of Antwerp. If you have a shipping company in the US you want to work with, then our forwarding company will get in touch with them and organise everything. Otherwise, they will suggest us a company to work with in the US. They can organise everything regarding the shipment of the container but also the transport company afterwards to get the car to your place. Let me know in case it's not clear or if you have any doubts. Of course more details can be given later on
@The_emyrean_._ Hi, the car has been very well maintained, but we don’t have detailed service records available, except several invoices on works done that you can see on the last picture.
@Giorgio1967 Hi, yes for sure. I’ll send you some pictures by tomorrow at the latest
Bid in the amount of $50,930
Any service recs?
Is there a tear in the headliner on the driver's side?
Can you describe the process to import/ship back to the US? Thanks.
Hi ,
Would it be possible to have some pictures of the underside of your 911 Turbo. Thank you
