Marking the final year of the 911SC or “Super Carrera,” this 1983 Porsche 911SC Coupe is finished in Guards Red over Black upholstery. It has been modified with a raised rear spoiler, yellow brake calipers, a dual exhaust system, a Momo steering wheel, aluminum pedals, 17” Turbo Twist wheels, and more. Cared for by the original owner for approximately 36 years, this example was later acquired by the current owner in 2021 and garage-kept since. This SC is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red and features rectangular front fog lights, impact bumpers, body-colored headlight rings, and dual side mirrors. Modifications include Porsche-crest fender decals, a 993 “basket handle” rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, yellow brake calipers, and 17” Turbo Twist wheels. The seller notes the electric sunroof is currently inoperable. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is situated within custom black upholstery with red seat piping. Equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, a JVC cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer, and black carpets with 911SC-designated floor mats. Modifications consist of a carpeted dashboard cover, a Momo steering wheel, a custom shift knob, an upgraded stereo, contrasting instrumentation bezels, and aluminum pedals.
An air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 172 HP and 189 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle while stopping power comes from power-assisted disc brakes at each corner. The seller states the valve covers have been changed and a cooling fan has been installed. Additionally, attention to the transmission is said to have been carried out by Vertex Auto of Miami, Florida.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I purchased this car with the intention of putting a widebody kit, but sadly I never got to it. I’m now looking to sell this in order to purchase a new boat.”

With all the flooded cars coming from florida, it would help to see the wheels off and the car on a lift to see pictures underneath. Start up and short drive video to prove it runs and shifts with rebuilt trans.
