This 1983 Porsche 911SC Coupe came factory finished in the rare Paint to Sample color of Sienna Metallic and was refinished under the care of its previous long-term owner who also oversaw the installation of a rebuilt European-spec motor with several upgrades. Additionally, the car features overhauled brakes and suspension, a rebuilt transmission, custom fiberglass bumpers, a sunroof delete, a ducktail spoiler, LED headlights, lightweight carpeting, Recaro seats, RS-style door panels, a JWest Engineering shifter, 16” Group 4 wheels, and more. It was purchased by the seller earlier in 2023 and is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This 911SC features the rarely-seen Paint to Sample color of Sienna Metallic (436) and received a full glass-out respray in its original color under prior ownership in 2018 along with the installation of all new seals and gaskets, LED headlights and taillights, custom fiberglass bumpers, a ducktail rear spoiler, Achtung Kraft bullet mirrors, Porsche-logo side stripes and a welded sunroof delete panel. A set of new satin gold 16” Group 4 PAG1560 “Heart” alloy wheels were mounted by the current owner along with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires within the last 3k miles. The paint is preserved by a layer of clear paint protection film over the full front end and the exterior is described to be in excellent overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior has been redone with a new lightweight carpet kit, a new headliner, RS-style door panels, and Recaro bucket seats with Pascha cloth inserts. Other modifications include aluminum Rennline floorboards, a three-spoke Raid steering wheel, and a JWest Engineering RennShift shifter with a 917-style balsa wood knob. A new Continental Bluetooth radio has also been installed along with a hardwire connection for a radar detector and a wideband air/fuel meter in place of the dashboard clock. The seller reports all gauges and accessories work properly and the speedometer was replaced under prior ownership. The car’s total mileage is unknown.
The car’s original engine was replaced with a rebuilt European-spec 3.0-liter 930/10 motor featuring a high-torque starter, a Carrera 3.2 oil cooler, an MSD ignition box, Clewitt Engineering spark plug cables, SSI exhaust manifolds, and a Dansk Sport muffler. A Rennline mechanical decklid strut was also installed along with an easy-drain valve for the oil tank. The engine is said to have been installed approximately 10k miles ago and the 5-speed 915 manual transaxle was rebuilt in 2014 within the last 5k miles. The brakes and suspension were also rebuilt along with the installation of upgraded torsion bars, new Bilstein shocks, Turbo tie rods, and Sway-a-Way adjustable rear spring plates. The seller notes an oil change was recently completed and an engine leakdown test was performed at 52,110 miles showing 2%-4% across all cylinders.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a collection of records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car is an absolute blast to drive! Lightweight and with the ROW 3-liter it just goes and goes. The paint is just about flawless. The wheels just pop. This is truly a fly-in and drive-anywhere car. Solid, runs excellent, not a spec of rust, and fully repainted in its original paint to sample Sienna Metallic (aka Sahara Diamond Metallic). No disappointments!”

@WGris You can see from the underside pics that the engine is clean and dry. In all fairness, I don’t think there is an air cooled motor that doesn’t have at least a little bit of seepage. But definitely nothing that requires any sort of attention.
Absolutely GORGEOUS car and color! Are there ANY leaks, drips or even just seepage of any sort?
Just a couple hours ago. Happy to answer any last-minute questions.
I saw this car last October at the Targa Georgia car event. The car is gorgeous inside and out and the sound is amazing.
Thanks everyone for the positive comments !! Just a few more hours to go !!!
This car is cool and doesn’t disappoint.
Surely pops and the seller knows his stuff.
All the looks and the go of a 5 speed ROW
glwta!
Solid and fast. I could hardly keep up with it in the mountains. And I have a 993
Seller and current owner of the car are very well respected in our Pcar community. I have had the wonderful opportunity to see this car in person. It is absolutely gorgeous. A well sorted classic, new owner will definitely enjoy this amazing car. GLWA!!
I know both the car, and the owner well and am proud to consider both friends. The paint on this car is even more stunning in person, the engine bay spotless, and the interior is both very well put together and has some great unique touches. The next owner is sure to be incredibly pleased, complete air-cooled experience in this 911SC. GLWA!!!
From both a friend of the seller and owner of a 911SC you won’t be disappointed with this one. A great well sorted tight SC and a blast to drive. GLWA!

@CWSales Yes, the heater works. I used it when I had the car up in North Carolina about a month and a half ago. All the AC components have been removed and were never given to me so I don't have any of it. If I were to put AC in it, I would definitely go with one of those new electric versions.
is there a heater and A/C installed?
Bid in the amount of $56,000
@spartansix I agree. There is attention to detail everywhere you look. Everything that was done to the car was executed with care and purpose.
Lots of nice touches on this car, even in places you can't usually see. Really looks like it was built with an open checkbook.
@RumbleAuto I agree. No sunroof is just a cleaner look, it gives you a little bit more headroom and best of all it’s one less system to maintain and fix
@pruveit I added a pic of the rear seat area into the gallery
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.

It's also a sunroof delete model, making it even more desirable to guys like me!
Hi,
Could you please provide pictures of the rear seat area?
Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $50,000
@aircooledguyks I wasn't planning on it but it could be included if the buyer wants it
@drola beautiful car, love the color and the ghosted stripes fit this SC perfectly. Does the Brumos plate come with the car?
@Garden38 Not sure about that. That filter was on there when I bought the car. Everything on the car has been redone so if that was mileage it was inconsequential to me.
In picture 214 there is a 6 digit number (271921) and 5-19 written on the fuel filter. Could that be the mileage when it was installed?
Love the paint. GLWTA
Thanks for looking at my car. I am happy to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. I also encourage personal inspections and can make myself available to show the car to any interested parties. I'm 5 minutes from Fort Lauderdale airport. Fly in and drive home :-)
