Up for auction is this classic 1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet.  Produced for one year only, the Porsche 911SC Cabriolet became the first fully open-top convertible 911 upon its release in 1983.  Presented in the stunning factory color combination of Grand Prix White over a Pearl White leather interior, this nicely maintained SC Cabriolet is now being offered by its seller in Florida while showing just over 58k original miles on the odometer.

The Grand Prix White finish on this SC is said to be in very good condition.  The paint is said to be mostly original with the exception of a few high meter readings on the decklid and right rear fender which are depicted in the photo gallery.  The Cabriolet top shows to be in excellent condition and is believed to have been replaced within the last several years.  Front fog lights are factory optioned along with forged alloy Fuchs wheels that are currently dressed in healthy Kumho tires from 2016.

Inside, this Cabriolet is configured with a Pearl White and Black leather interior which is said to be in great shape except for some minor cracks in the leather upholstery.  Factory optional equipment includes a steering wheel with raised hub, cruise control, and a 2-scale speedometer (MPH/KMH).  The original Blaupunkt cassette radio is said to remain functional along with the air conditioning and all other gauges and accessories.

This SC is equipped with an air-cooled 3.0 L flat-six engine that sends 180 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.  A collection of records shows proper routine maintenance and a recent full service was performed to ensure the car is in excellent running order for its next owner.  Carfax also shows consistent mileage throughout the lifetime of the vehicle.

The sale of this SC will be accompanied by a set of 2 keys, original books and tools, a clean title, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.  If you are a passionate air-cooled enthusiast in search of a Cabriolet, this 1-year-only 1983 SC makes an excellent choice.

@BCRS Thanks for the helpful reply. It would have been easier to pick up locally as I'm in AZ...

@markbutlerinc Last owner (from AZ) had the car for 21 years. (The car is now in FL for sale)
It has original 58.200 miles and all the necessary service work done in these years.
Due to low milage it needed no internal engine work.
Recently serviced/inspected as the preparation for the sale and it is in perfect condition.

This car has seen quite a bit of the U.S. Nice to see it was driven. The last service record was in Tucson, AZ, but the car is currently now in FL, correct? Any known internal engine work ever performed?
