Available for auction at no reserve is this 1982 Porsche 924 finished in silver over a black interior. First launched for the 1976 model year, the 924 was Porsche’s original water-cooled transaxle sports car. This 1982 example was acquired by the seller approximately two years ago and has since been serviced and updated by Rennwerke Porsche Technicians of New York. This 924 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut showing approximately 55k miles on the odometer.
This 924 wears silver paint and a set of 15” ATS honeycomb wheels dressed in Yokohama Avid tires from 2020. The seller notes the front fenders have been refinished and the rear hatch shows a small dent, detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leatherette interior includes power windows, air conditioning, and a removable sunroof panel. Some signs of wear include split seams on the passenger seat, a small tear on the driver's seat, and cracks atop the dashboard. The seller notes some heat escapes from the vent in the driver’s footwell and confirms all gauges and accessories are working properly.
A fuel-injected 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle that sends up to 110 HP to the rear wheels. Since acquiring the car, a number of service items have been addressed by the seller including installation of a new battery, alternator, A/C compressor, accessory belt, and front shocks as well as new brake fluid, coolant, and A/C refirgeant.
This sale will include a clean title.

Sold for $5,500
A bid was placed in error and has been retracted.
My very first Porsche (of the 47 I’ve owned) purchased at 15 years old, was a an early ‘77 924. Rebuilt with euro pistons and desmogged, it still wasn’t a rocket, but was the perfect introduction to the Porsche magic.
These final 924s have all the nice updates like a 5 speed and four wheels discs. I remember wishing I had an ‘82 when Inhad mine.
Bid in the amount of $5,500
