Built as a tribute to the legendary Carrera RS 2.7 by the experts at Rennline in 2018, this 1982 Porsche 911 SC comes finished in Grand Prix White over a black leather interior. This custom-backdated 911 features significant upgrades including a 3.4-liter twin-plug 1989 Porsche 930 engine paired with a G50 transmission, 993 Porsche 911 Turbo brakes, Racing RS-style front bucket seats, upgraded suspension with Rennline components, 17” Fuchs-style wheels, and much more. This unique example is now being offered for auction at no reserve by its seller out of New York.
During its build, the body was refinished in its current shade of Grand Prix White by Washburn’s Autobody of Williston Vermont, and modified with classic long-hood styling. Features include Carrera RS-style body panels and graphics, a Rennline skid plate, front tie downs, a Rennline LED headlight conversion, and 17” Fuchs-style wheels finished in red with a machined lip. The finish shows imperfections including stone chips on the front end, rocker panels, rear bumper, and the rain rails where a roof rack was once mounted. Some discoloration is also noted on the rear bumper around the tailpipe. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The wheels are dressed in a set of new Toyo Proxes R888 tires.
The cabin has been overhauled and fitted with pair of front RS-style front bucket seats upholstered in black leather with basketweave inserts. The door rails and rear parcel shelf were reupholstered by Autobahn Interiors and the original plywood floorboards have been replaced with Rennline perforated aluminum panels. Additional upgrades include a Rennline dash backdate kit with basketweave inserts, Rennline billet HVAC control and dash knobs, and Carrera RS-style door cards, as well as a steering column bushing, Dansk sun visors, door striker and door stop repair kits, a carbon fiber frunk liner, a smuggler's box and blower motor assembly cover, and mechanical struts on the hood and decklid. Inoperable accessories include the sunroof, blower motor, and heater.
Power comes from a 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo flat-six engine which has been bored to a 3.4-liter displacement and fitted with an Electromotive distributorless twin-plug ignition system. The rear wheels are driven by way of an upgraded G50 5-speed manual transmission with shorter ratios by Patrick Motorsports and CAE custom G50 shifter assembly. The suspension has been significantly upgraded with Rennline control arms, adjustable spring plates, a bump steer kit, Tarett engineering sway bars, and more. Stopping power is provided by 993 Carrera-S front calipers on 930 rotors and custom-fitted 930 rear calipers and rotors. Reported service history includes a new gear knob, wiper arm, steering rack, and tie rods in 2019, and new lug nuts in 2023. In preparation for this sale, a service was carried out including new brake pads and rotors, a brake fluid flush, and an oil and filter service. Additional upgrades include:
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for visiting my auction. I welcome you to come visit the car and have a PPI carried out."

@flatcrank it is a freshly re done twin plug 3.4L turbo motor those do put out some Serious power. A picture of the motor before it was put back in the car can be found in the gallery. I’ll ask the team at Rennline to give me a full breakdown as well. Ty
@flatcrank hi I thought it was in the Rennline blog but I’ll double check but it should be in the records. There’s a stack of records really so I’ll have the team look through them and see exactly which one it is but I think it was done over a period of time, so there might be three or four different records for the engine, as far as the Dyno I don’t have a Dyno but I did beat my 993 turbo by about two car links so I assume it’s around 500hp, thanks
@Dom33 Where's the information on the engine build?
I see it's an '89 rebuilt to 3.4 and the photos show no apparent upgrades.
The rennline blog doesn't seem to show anything about the engine rebuild or specs and there's no apparent dyno.
I think the engine is a significant factor in the value of the vehicle.

@Ssort I can ship anywhere in the US fast and cheap! Lol
Thanks!!
@prmnorton1 as i assumed. C&B is not PCarMarket! Car looks great. Too bad I’m on the other coast.
@Ssort I really don’t think they understood what the car was, so I figured I’d bring it to the real Porsche community over here and let these guys bid on it who actually know what it is lol, It really is one of the most amazing ones I have in my collection, will be very sad to see it go, prob 500 plus hp, with short shift g50, 3.4 turbo, car rips, so light, suspension and brakes are amazing, they did such a amazing job on this build I can’t specify that enough, so fun to drive, I beat my 993 turbo by 2 car lengths if that gives you an idea of performance, Ty everyone for participating!
So bid to 113K on C&B a little bit ago if i recall. But NR auction here? Do i have this right? Thanks, car looks like fun!
