Up for auction is this 1982 Porsche 911 SC coupe presented in black over a black leather interior. Having been under the care of its current owner in California over the past 10 years, this 1982 example has been kept in excellent driving condition with records included from previous ownership also showing proper routine maintenance. Equipped with a factory front and rear spoilers, some custom exterior details and a 3.0 L flat-six engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential, this 911 SC is now being offered for auction accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity while showing approximately 91k miles on the odometer.
The black finish on this 911 is said to be in great shape with some typical road going wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Exterior highlights include aftermarket mirrors, removable blue and red Brumos Racing inspired vinyl graphics, removable carbon fiber vinyl hood wrap, rectangular front fog lights and factory front and rear spoilers. 16” Fuchs wheels are also equipped with come dressed in Continental Extreme Contact tires from 2019.
The black leather upholstered cabin is said to be in very nice condition with some signs of wear mostly on the driver’s seat. Red Coco floormats have been added along with an aftermarket Alpine head unit and silver gauge bezels. Factory options listed on the COA include Sport Seats, a limited slip differential, cruise control and an electric sliding sunroof. The air conditioning system was recharged in June of 2019, and all gauges and accessories are stated to be fully functional with the exception of the power side mirrors.
An air cooled 3.0L flat-six engine sends approximately 180 HP to the rear wheels by way of a numbers matching 5-speed manual transmission with a factory optioned limited slip differential. A torsion bar was installed along with a Carrera chain tensioner, and a comprehensive full service was performed in 2010 with proper routine maintenance carried out ever since. This 911 is said to drive beautifully, although with some minor white smoke noted upon cold startups.
The sale of this SC will include a set of two keys, books, tools, a spare tire, car cover, service records and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. If you have always aspired to own a class air cooled 911, this very well presented 1982 SC offers an excellent opportunity.

DeanAVal-
I have a few questions. I know pictures in these listings can sometimes be deceiving, but it looks to me like there's a slight bit of positive camber on the front wheels, esp LF. True or am I seeing things?
Also the listing says a comprehensive full service in 2010. How many miles have been put on the car since the work was done in 2010?
Beautiful car and I love the black on black with the Brumos stripes! Thanks and good luck!
