Finished in the rare and vibrant color of Minerva Blue Metallic over a brown and tan interior, this 1981 Porsche 911SC Coupe was treated to a complete glass-out repaint in recent years along with nearly $10k in fresh service. A striking example of a classic air-cooled 911, this SC is now being offered for auction out of New Mexico showing just over 82k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Minerva Blue Metallic and is said to have been completely refinished in its original color in 2020. It rides on factory 16” Fuchs wheels dressed in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. Some wear is noted on the trim pieces and rubber moldings while the paint is described to be in very good overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The brown and tan leather interior received a new vinyl headliner and rear parcel shelf from La Carrera Garage in August 2022. Equipment includes an aftermarket Alpine stereo, an electric sunroof, air-conditioning, power windows, and custom black carpet floor mats with blue Porsche lettering. Some wear is noted on the driver’s seat as well as a small tear and a hole in the passenger seat. The rear floor mats are mismatched and the carpeting shows signs of age. The seller confirms all gauges and accessories are working properly.
As much as 180 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque come from an air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. An invoice from La Carrera Garage shows $9,851 worth of service completed in August 2022 including new spark plugs, shifter bushings, intake manifold gaskets, a rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, fuel injector seals, a new airbox, brake lines, brake pads, rotors, rebuilt calipers, a new clutch kit, and repacked wheel bearings.
This sale will include one key, maintenance records, and a clean title.

@Passion4Porsche, any luck at getting the 1) pics prior to repaint, 2) compression/leak down numbers, 3) service records be for 2015 as requested by potential bidders
Tidy Minerva lower mi original SC coupe........boy does this one have a ways to go.
@Ranger3 I don't why the isn't there. No COA at this time. I can request one but that will take a few weeks to get. I did make sure the color was correct by VIN from the dealer.
Any idea why and when the metal paint code tag was removed from the driver's side door jamb? Is Minerva Blue the factory color? is there a COA available for the car? Thanks in advance for your reply?

@Passion4Porsche Thanks for clarifying. I was interested at the time, then it was removed from the PCA site before I could inquire. It’s a very nice shade of blue and I hope it finds a good home!
@kmichelsen Not a flip still same owner. She decided to do some work and maybe keep the car. Then she decided not to. Helping out a friend. Regarding upgrades, budget is was factor.

This car was on the PCA site a few months ago, so I assume this is a flip, but why not do the “normal” SC upgrades along with the other recent work? Can seller please address this?
@johnnyv555 I will try and have the numbers tomorrow. The engine has not been updated with Carrera tensioners.
@Passion4Porsche Has the car been updated with the hydraulic Carrera tensioners? When will the compression/leak down numbers be available?

@johnnyv555 Yes.
@johnnyv555 I do not have the receipt at this moment but will work on that. I can tell you it was done by Eisenbuds inc. in Denver Colorado. Eisenbuds sent out the original speedo to a place that converted speedo and keep the mileage correct.
