A limited-edition model with just 408 examples produced for the North American market, the Porsche 911SC Weissach Coupe debuted as a tribute to the marque’s motorsport division. Each features a special paint color, a unique Doric Grey leather interior, sport shock absorbers, and front and rear spoilers. This example was factory-specified with a Platinum Metallic finish, a limited-slip differential, front fog lights, and an electric sunroof. Imported to Canada in 2010, this rare Weissach Edition Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Ontario with approximately 96k miles showing on the odometer.
This 911SC is finished in Platinum Metallic, one of two unique color choices available for the Weissach Edition. Designated by option code M439, the Weissach edition also includes a flexible spoiler lip attached to the front air dam as well as a Whale Tail rear spoiler and Platinum Metallic painted 15” Fuchs wheels. Front fog lights and an electric sunroof were further optioned. The seller states that the vehicle was refinished in gold paint under prior ownership and has since been stripped to bare metal, then refinished in its original Platinum Metallic. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the driver is greeted with special Doric Gray leather upholstery, Sport Seats with red accent piping, red carpets, and a black headliner. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order, although the seatbelt warning occasionally illuminates while the seatbelts are engaged.
An air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 180 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual gearbox and optional limited-slip differential. The seller states a professional Porsche mechanic has meticulously maintained this example, and service records will accompany the sale. No outstanding service items have been reported.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, a battery charger, sales literature, and two new rear brake rotors.
The seller would like you to know: “This car has been maintained diligently with all services performed by a highly recognized, skilled Porsche mechanic. It has been driven only in the summertime in good weather (about 500-600 miles over a 4–5-month period). It has been stored indoors during the winter months. I am a careful driver who enjoys a drive in a superb car, and during my ownership, I can categorically state that it has never been redlined.”

@garyklein911 I'll see what I can do for engine shots.
Beautiful SC! Couple questions for the seller:
Can you coordinate shipping to the US? I presume this car could be imported with no tariffs - may you confirm?
Is a driving video available?
Any fluid leaks or water intrusion issues?
I see this is a catalyst car. Is the factory smog equipment installed?
Has a compression test been completed?
Would it be possible to just use your phone camera to get some under the engine views? Sure would be helpful. Thanks.

@jbauto When a headlight went out a couple of months ago, I realised the headlights were upgraded to H4.
@garyklein911 Sorry, but I don't have access to a lift. The attached photos are the best I could do with a cell phone. Regarding car history, as far as I know, there were no accidents or signs of one when the car was stripped to bare metal for paint restoration. Honestly, initially, I was not aware of the wrong colour when I bought it. It was gold. Later, I realised it was not factory spec, and I felt I had to redo the paint.
Pics of engine bottom, exhaust system, suspension, brakes and trunk area would be helpful. Any known accidents? Any known reason from previous owner why it was painted a different color, esp when it is a special model featuring this color?
Looks like the frunk lid is open. Are those 1984 headlights? Interesting Spec. GL
I am a long time Porsche guy and I have loved driving this unique example of Porsche excellence. With the exception of the radio, I have always kept everything original. All numbers match. During the past 15 years, I have had no major technical problems, and the only significant expense was returning the paint colour to the original factory spec shortly after I purchased the car.
@garyklein911 The engine is a stock 3.0 L engine. The transmission is a stock 5-speed with no changes. All numbers match CoA and are original. Both engine and transmission have only required routine maintenance.
Thanks. I haven’t looked at all the pics yet, but can you summarize the engine upgrades/engine work/trans work/suspension upgrades, etc.
@garyklein911 It is a USA car, purchased in Tennessee, and brought into Canada in 2010.
Is this a USA car? Was imported from US to Canada? I understand if true, it helps bring back to US?
