We are pleased to present this 1980 Porsche 911 SC Outlaw-Style build finished in White Gold Metallic over a custom brown and black partial leather interior. A drivers dream, this SC has been fitted with multiple hand-selected performance and cosmetic upgrades including a Dansk GT3-style exhaust, lowered suspension, and a lightweight ducktail spoiler. Said to have had an engine rebuild approximately 6 years ago, this 911 remains in excellent running condition and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of London, ON.
Finished in White Gold Metallic, this 911 features a handful of custom exterior details including a lowered, more aggressive suspension setup, lightweight ducktail spoiler with custom grill, rear bumperette delete, and H4 headlights with black bezels. It is safe to say that this Outlaw is a true head turner. Originally finished in Copper Brown, the car is said to have had a quality refinish in the mid 1990’s that still shows well with some minor blemishes as outlined in the photo gallery. The car rides on a set of contrasting gloss black Fuchs wheels that wear Continental tires dated from 2013 with plenty of tread life remaining.
Inside, you will find a beautifully re-styled brown and black interior that means business. Factory RSA-style cloth seats have been fitted alongside a 917-style handmade wooden shift knob. The entire rear seat assembly has been professionally removed and a brand new RS light weight carpet kit has been installed. Other noteworthy details include an air conditioning delete, center console delete, light weight RS door panels, Alpine coaxial speakers, and a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel. All gauges and functions are said to be in working order.
Power comes from a 3.0 L flat-six air-cooled engine that is capable of producing approximately 180HP and 175 lb-ft of torque. According to the seller, this engine was rebuilt approximately 6 years ago by a local master technician. Undercarriage photos will show the clean nature of this power-plant. It is said to have had a service performed last Fall and currently stands in excellent driving condition. This 911 is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission that features a short shift kit and brand-new shifter bushings. The car has been lowered and the installation of a Dansk GT3-style dual center-outlet exhaust system has been implemented for increased vehicle performance.
The seller notes that the odometer was replaced at 118k kilometers (73k miles). It now shows 15,350 kilometers (9,538 miles) for an average total of 133,350 kilometers (82,859 miles).
The sale will include two keys, books, recent service records and a box of miscellaneous spare parts including the original air conditioning compressor.

Weak bidding today....car goes into Deal Tank now where it will be open for post auction offers. Will take more to close the deal on this one, but I will be around for any further questions/info. Note the silver SC that sold for 53k a couple weeks ago on here.

Down to final couple hours. Thanks to everyone who's reached out, I've tried to get back to you/answer all your questions but if I missed anything, now's your chance. This is a super tight, nicely sorted SC thats ready to be enjoyed. All the right noises and feelings, and has gotten a lot of praise. Will happily assist with logistics for international buyers and can point you in the right direction for brokerage/shipping. Good luck.

Thanks to everyone who I've been chatting with via email. One of the most common questions seems to be "is there a reserve?", to which the answer is YES. If the car doesn't hit reserve tomorrow afternoon it will likely go into Deal Tank where offers can continue. NO I cannot accept a private offer right now/pull it from auction - your best bet at securing this car is to place your highest bid before the deadline. For anyone with further questions, don't hesitate to message me.
Bid in the amount of $15,555
I should note, the following will be included with the car:
- Factory rear lower valance
- Original A/C compressor/components
- Original 'sugar scoop' headlight bezels (if you want them)
- Misc. hardware/hoses/belts/spare parts
- Service records, owners manual
- Both keys
@zdean808 Yes, very easily. Due to age I believe no import duty has to be paid either, but please look into this yourself to confirm.
Can this car be registered in the States?
Bid in the amount of $11,000
@probinson1627 You're right about the colour, it's gotten more compliments than I ever imagined. And good point on license plate lights - I've left the original wiring in place so if someone choses to install, it should be easy (even just the kind that attach to the plate frame). From my experience with this car, it charms people into looking the other way on an inspection for small details like that.
I wouldn't say a rebuild is necessary (yet) for the trans (unless the buyer is a really bad driver), but these 915s are notoriously finicky and eventually it should probably be once again redone. Now that I'm comfortable with them, I actually prefer the 915 to the G50!
As the owner of a '86 3.2 I agree that White Gold paint is my favorite. Mine, and the other one on BAT, is a little lighter shade.
I experienced the same shifting issues which were fixed with a $4K rebuild.
Finally, a rear license light will be required in many places to register.
Great car.
@Marcelo There should be a 'contact seller' button below the info box on the right of the listing.
@Marcelo I am new here. How do we PM each other ?
The photos don't really represent the colour very well. The white gold changes a bit in different lighting (the video captures it the best) - I wasn't in love when I first bought it but it's now become an all-time favourite. Also doesn't show any dirt, which is nice. The dark brown interior is a bit darker/less reddish in person. If anyone would like more detailed photos or videos, just PM me and I'd be happy to accommodate.
@mxtx Thanks. If I remember correctly, 7x16 front (205/50 16) and 9/16 rear (225/55 16).
hi nice build — what size wheels/tires? wasn't able to zoom sharp enough looks great
@Marcelo Pcar doesn't like us to share personal info. But send me a private message and we'll figure something out.
Hi,
I am from Oakville -ON. Can we chat on the phone about your car ?

Hello all. Thanks for checking out my SC. A little background - I work for Porsche and bought this car last year from a co-workers son. He purchased the car from a long term owner who suffered a mis-shift that threw a rod in the engine. Upon purchase, my co worker (Porsche Gold certified master tech) rebuilt the engine and trans with OEM Porsche classic parts and properly sorted the car. It is very dry underneath and feels GREAT. I purchased from him in near-stock condition and spent the last 6 months totally dialing it in. It is a potent, tossable, tight, lively, and extremely raw visceral air-cooled 911 experience, and has gotten the most praise of any of my older 911s to date. Please watch the in depth driving & walkaroud videos I've attached to get a true feel for the car (photos don't do it justice, esp. the stance & the sound). This is my 4th auction on here, so I am getting the hang of it, and will be around to answer ANY questions at all. Have too many toys and not enough parking...and another 911 on the way...so unfortunately I think its time to let Goldy go. Happy bidding.
