Available for auction is a 1980 F.W. & Associates Ford Hot Rod style Go-Kart. This go-kart was designed to resemble a 1932 Ford hot rod and was produced by F.W. & Associates of Tempe, Arizona. The kart wears fiberglass bodywork finished in yellow over a black tubular steel frame, and power comes from a Briggs and Stratton single linked to a centrifugal clutch and a drive chain.
Features include a rear-mounted drum brake, a black seat, a three-spoke steering wheel, front lights, and a metallic gold helmet. The seller states there is some scratches and hairline cracks in the original finish of the fiberglass body. The frame appears to have been refinished at one point and the steering column to have been repaired at one point also.
