We are pleased to offer this remarkable 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo finished in Guards Red over a black interior. The Turbo was originally imported through Los Angeles and sold new from Alexander Volkwasgen inc. of Yuma, Arizona. It came factory optioned with desirable leather Sport Seats, an electric sliding sunroof, and a limited-slip differential. Having spent most of its life in private collections, this 930 has been preserved in outstanding original condition with just over 1,800 miles currently showing on the odometer. It is reported to have been routinely started for exercise and had undergone a major mechanical refresh in 2017 including new fluids, seals, gaskets, and bushings. Easily among the best-preserved and lowest mileage Porsche 930s available, this 1979 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
Presented in its most traditional configuration, this 930 is finished in Guards Red and features black stone guards, a Tea Tray rear spoiler, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with black painted centers and anodized outer lips. The paint is described to be entirely original and the seller notes that all factory-applied stickers and labels remain in place. The original rubber has been replaced with newer Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico tires.
Inside, this Turbo features a beautifully presented black interior with desirable leather Sport Seats. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, automatic heat control, power windows, a rear window wiper, and an electric sliding sunroof. The original Blaupunkt radio still remains in place and all gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional including the A/C.
This 930 carries its original 3.3L turbocharged flat-six engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox and a factory-optioned limited-slip differential. The engine compartment shows to have been very well kept with the insulation pad remaining nicely preserved. Maintenance records are available dating back to 2009 which shows a new OEM fuel tank to have been previously installed as well as a major service carried out in 2017 which included a thorough inspection, new valve cover gaskets, an oil and filter change, and many new seals and bushings throughout. The seller will also provide a fresh oil service upon sale to the next owner.
This sale will include the original owner's manuals, sales order, keys, and a clean title. A perfect addition to any world-class car collection or automotive museum, this incredibly low-mileage 1979 911 Turbo offers a very special opportunity.

Paint meter readings have been added to the listing page.
serious question - because of the low miles does one need to be concerned about seals and the like ?
Absolutely beautiful work of art! This is the iconic car of the 80s.
Bid in the amount of $100,000
@ooeclipse Sir, yes we have the window sticker and bill of sale of the car, as well as certificate of authenticity, every book, original unused key, radio books and card, and museum documentation.
I will provide readings soon.
Do you have the original window sticker or COA. The car presents beautifully, but the posted bill of sale does not have any documentation tying it to this vehicle (VIN, etc).
Are paint meter readings avail as well?
thank you

@mariodesmo Please don't quote me on this one, It's possible that I'm not correct. I believe in the 70s passenger side mirrors were not a requirement, but an option. I also believe that the California cars were fitted with Catalyst converters but not 100% sure on the timeline. Sorry I couldn't help further.
Can you explain the non catalyst car (sticker on driver side door jamb) and no rear view mirror on the passenger door? It is a beautiful car!
