This RoW 1979 Porsche 911SC Coupe comes finished in black over matching upholstery and features an optional sunroof-delete. Initially delivered in Japan, this example was imported to Canada in 2007 where it was later purchased by the current owner in 2017, owner of an independent auto shop, Euroklass, a team of expert mechanics in Napierville, Quebec. This 911SC also features a rebuilt and upgraded engine, RSR-style bumpers, a ducktail rear spoiler, Gotti J55A wheels, Recaro bucket seats, and much more. This example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada with approximately 89k kilometers (less than 56 miles) showing on the odometer.
Previously finished in white, this non-sunroof Coupe was reportedly refinished in black during its time in Japan. It features RSR-style bumpers, a rear RS-style ducktail spoiler, and a set of Gotti J55A wheels wrapped in new Firestone Indy 500 tires. The seller adds that the original front bumper and 15” Fuchs wheels will accompany the sale. Other details include black window trim, green “Carrera” side stripes, dual exhaust outlets, and European-market H4 headlights. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The black interior includes leather Recaro bucket seats, a MOMO steering wheel with a yellow 12 o’clock marker, tilted VDO gauges, RS-style door panels, and aluminum pedal covers. Other equipment includes power windows, Carrera-branded floor mats, climate controls, and a sound system. The seller confirms all gauges, electronics, and accessories to be in proper working order.
Power is derived from an air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine driving the rear wheels through a 5-speed 915 manual gearbox. The seller reports that the engine was completely rebuilt approximately 3k kilometers ago including a new crankshaft, connecting rods, and bearings along with Nikasil-coated cylinders, new JE pistons, individual throttle bodies, a set of six 440cc 42lb fuel injectors, and racing-specification clutch.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “A lovely Euro-spec Porsche 911SC. It spent its first 28 years in Japan, then landed in Canada in 2007. It was a summer car for 10 years. Then, it was bought by the current seller, a mechanic who rebuilt the engine from the ground up utilizing the very best parts. This is an easy import with possible delivery to your doorstep in no time. Make sure to run the video and bid with confidence!"

@AlexBert Is there a dyno plot of that? Those numbers dont seem to add up. 3.2L , 8.5:1, single plug and 240hp on a conservative tune... I want to believe it but its hard with the details provided
Bid in the amount of $12,000
@windsurfar From the Owner:
Ecu Master is a Ecu that you can tune any engine by a specialist tuner ,this one was tune on a day on a dynometer ,by Kmp motorsport near Montréal.
The engine pushes 240hp with a conservative tune.
The 3.0l as 8.5 /1 compression with new JE race piston ,the cylinder as new Nikasil coating ,all bearing were replaced ,new cam was added ,Douherty cams with 964 specs .,The throttles body 's intake and linkage was built by a guy on Pelican part to fit triumph throttles body's 42mm with 440cc injectors, Crank pulley crank sensor and cam sensor came from Clewett engineering ,and it have a COP conversion ,no cap and rotors ,the coil are from Vw 2.0l turbo engine .
the injection and ignition is sequential .Head are rebuilt and original ,it has hydrolic chain ajuster from a 935 .the engine as 3500km on it .
@AlexBert It would be extremely helpful to get the build sheet of the recent rebuild, this is a highly modified engine and the details are important for the next owner and their mechanic. ie EFI type, compression etc.
@2mAn You know this will not pass california emissions testing right? Heavily modified no catalytic converter.
Bid in the amount of $9,911
@AlexBert Any info regarding the ECU & how its been tuned for ITBs, being that this was a CIS car originally.
Is there some leeway for logistics of getting this car into the States? Im all the way in SoCal so theres a lot of hoops to jump through.
@gtluke Quebec certificate. A small 0.025 import tax payable at the border.
@AlexBert so does it have a NY title or a Canadian title? Would import fees be required?
@gtluke Please Check Vehicle Details on top: This is where the car is located. Pcarmarket has the exclusivity. Thanks to Report. Old Ad placed by Owner. Deleted or soon to be deleted. No more confusion.
Where is this car located? It's also listed for sale on Facebook 100 miles south in NY, USA by a different seller.
Confusing. Care to explain?
@posrrr Thanks for Your comment. I agree.
Nothing matches
the beauty
the engine sound
the exhaust notes
the ooomph / Pizzazz / desirability
Of a well sorted & Sturdy G/Body Porsche 911, not even a GT2 RS with the ludicrous Wings.
Prepare to steal any show / Grabbing all the Oxygen.
* On Gotti J55A, similar to the ones Silber 930 has in No Man’s Land ( 260 Chrono ) in the Hot Pursuit where a Camaro is destroyed.
Original 🦊 15x8 & 15x7 wheels 🛞🛞🛞🛞come with the car after Reserve is Met.
PS: Keep Note: Engine Rebuilt like it was done is a $35000 🇺🇸 🏷️.
Gorgeous, well-equipped car!
