Available for auction is an original painting by Michael Ledwitz. "It was inspired here on Pcarmarket’s Photo Coach. I saw the car and fell in love with it. Then I saw the window sticker and thought this would be a great combination with the Heuer stopwatch set." This 36" x 48" painting was completed using acrylic paint with brush stroke and spray paint and silver leaf.
Michael Ledwitz is known for his abstract style similar to Peter Max and LeRoy Neiman. His love for the arts started with drawing cars at a very young age and was inspired by Hot Wheels. Michael's art is coveted in the automotive industry and has led to many high-level pieces including the artwork done for Carrol Shelby's 85th birthday celebration. Michael's professional career in automotive art started after he was in a near-fatal car accident in 2005. He was forced to slow down from work in franchising in order to heal. His painting began as a hobby; a way to relax and reflect. Soon after, people started to notice Michael’s talent and began requesting commissioned pieces of their own. Since then, Michael’s accomplishments include silent auction pieces for Zoo Atlanta, commissioned paintings for Carroll Shelby’s 85th birthday in Las Vegas, Shelby Licensee, and was the featured artist for the 2018 Atlanta Concours d'Elegance at Chateau Elan.

Thank you so very much for your bid and words of Inspiration. I sincerely appreciate it. I love this painting. A little history on the love of this car for me. I grew up in Ocean twp. New Jersey. One of my childhood friends, who I’m r still friends with today owned a series of cars and we would droll over them all the time. His name was Jim Whitlock and he was about 6’2 and looked like he just walked off the movie set. He got me hooked. He has a’83 944 then a ‘84 Carrera , then the HOLY GRAIL 930. It only had about 8600 miles on it when he sold it. I remember seeing him pass me and honking the horn. It was epic. Any way, this the reason for this painting.
