Up for auction is this 1978 911 RSR Tribute, built by Passion Driven Restoration Specialists in New Castle, DE. This extremely high-caliber build is finished in Olympic Blue and is the clear choice for those who seek an unmatched, visceral experience with 21st century performance. Built from the ground up, the seller emphasized that no expense was spared when creating this incredible machine, giving it the fit and finish of a world-class automobile.
Starting with a structurally solid 1978 SC donor, a steel wide-body and long-hood backdate were performed. Photographic documentation of the donor car (pre-build) and the build process are shown in the gallery photos. The Olympic Blue paint is done to an extremely high standard and being a recent build with just 216 miles, is in brand new condition with no flaws. Some exterior enhancements noted by the seller are:
The seller states that the interior is brand-new with many tasteful enhancements. Rich black leather can be found throughout the interior including the custom built GTS Classic seats w/ headrests. Upon entering the cockpit, you will immediately notice the attention to detail that was put into building this RSR. A Prototipo custom leather steering wheel and custom gauges with exterior color-matched speedometer can be found in site. Some other noteworthy features include Leather RS door panels, German square weave carpet, Alcantara headliner, 1973-style dash fascia with basket weave leather insert, Restored 1973-style gauges, factory Porsche classic radio w/ bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation, Complete JL Audio sound and a Complete heat and AC system.

I have seen this car in the flesh on several occasions. I was at Passion Driven when they started planning the build. I was there when the SC first rolled into the shop. There is not a single detail that was not considered, there is not a single system on this car that is not done to the highest standard. Every time I see this car I am blown away.
