The Porsche 928 debuted at the 1977 Geneva Motor Show as a range-topping grand tourer with 50/50 weight distribution, luxurious accommodations, and performance on par with the contemporary 911. This 1977 Porsche 928 is a European example finished in Silver Metallic over a black leather and pinstripe velour interior and equipped with a 4.5-liter V8 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Currently stored as part of a private collection, this early 928 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Italy showing approximately 77k kilometers (just under 48k miles) on the odometer.
This 928 is said to have been refinished in its factory shade of Silver Metallic and features lightweight aluminum paneling for the doors, front fenders, and bonnet. Exterior details include distinctive pop-up headlights, a driver’s side mirror, European-spec side markers, yellow-tinted fog lights, a rear window wiper, and a dual-tipped exhaust outlet. It rides on factory 16” Phone Dial wheels dressed in Riken Road Performance tires from 2019. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The 2+2 interior is appointed with black leatherette upholstery and pinstripe velour inserts on the seats and door panels. Accessories include air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, "928" door sill insignias, a quartz clock, a heated rear window, a locking glovebox, and a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
This 928 is equipped with a water-cooled 4.5-liter SOHC 16-valve V8 engine that utilizes Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 240 HP. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed dog-leg manual transmission. Performance features include a passive rear-wheel steering system dubbed the “Weissach Axle”, which helps increase stability while braking and turning. The seller notes that the engine and steering system have been overhauled and there are no outstanding maintenance items to the best of their knowledge.

Checking on internet looks like it would be something between 1500 and 4000 USD.
But you better ask there in USA.

Nice looking car although I wish they had left the wings off of it.
@Frederico1985, that doesn't make it a 1977 model year. Every manufacturer puts out the model year for a car many months before the start of the year. For instance, I could go to my local Ford dealership today and drive off with a brand new, 2024 Ford truck, even though it is still the year 2023. Registration date does not make it a 77 model year 928.

the interior, as the whole car for his age, are in great shape.
Interesting early Euro, first year shark. The interior looks to be in great shape. It's actually a 1978 - not a 1977. It was built in 77, but the model year is 78. There were no 1977 928's.
