@Andyjames01 Thank you for your patience. I just confirmed that there is no heat in the car.
@Chipper Thank you for your observation! I opted for black to match the title, which also lists the color as black. This way, the car remains cohesive with its documentation while offering a refined appearance.
That is of little significance. The original color of the car as per the ID plate you have pictured and the obvious engine bay is brown.
@Chipper Thank you for your comment! The car is listed as black on the title, aligning with its current appearance.
Restoring to the original brown color would look much better than the current black repaint.
@Porschepulse sounds good.
@Andyjames01 Thank you for your question, and I apologize for the delay in responding! While the exhaust has been updated to headers, the rest of the heating components remain in the car. That said, I’ve never personally used the heat. I’m currently out of town until tomorrow, but I’ll check everything and get back to you with confirmation as soon as possible.
@Andyjames01 @porschepulse seems my tag didn't work for you.
@porschepulse, I saw that the exhaust has been changed to headers, besides that exhaust, is the rest of the heating items still in the car, or has everything been removed?
I'm in Washington state so heat for the winter drives is necessary.
Bid in the amount of $11,000

@IXXINut Thank you for your comment and for pointing that out! The orientation for the pictures is fixed, so they should now display properly.
Very nice 911. It would help if all of the pictures were in the porper orentation.
@garyklein911: The '77 did use thermal reactors and and an air pump. Temperature gauge is also unique to '77 going to 340°.
FWIW: Catalytic converters appeared in 1978.
@Porschepulse Thanks for info. Will stay tuned for videos.
@SayAWE911 Thank you for your follow ip question! I have owned the car since 2021. No additional issues have surfaced since the rebuild. The color listed on the title is black. The engine features a green fan shroud, consistent with the factory designation for this year model. I just Uploaded pictures of engine number and vin, I will upload the gear box number soon. As for selling, I’m navigating significant changes in life, prompting the decision. Regarding oil cooling, there have been no upgrades made, the car run beautifully. Look for the driving videos to be uploaded soon as well.

77 911 experts please correct me if I’m wrong. My understanding is that this engine came with an air pump, twin thermal reactors and exhaust gas recirculation. Also cats did not exist yet. From the picture shown, I don’t see any of these parts still there. Also it looks like performance headers and not heat exchangers, thus no heat. Thus I assume would not have a chance on CA smog checks. Certainly these are good performance mods, but just need to know what has been changed. Thanks.
@garyklein911 Thank you for your question and interest in the car! The cats were not removed when the updated exhaust was installed.
@garyklein911 Thank you for your question and interest in the car! I just uploaded a picture of the exhaust. It is a Dansk dual centre-exit exhaust system. I will upload more picture once I have the car on a lift for more updated photos. I will check the heat and let you know.

Thank you for your response. a few more items to create clarity/history. How long have you owned it? Any additional issues surface on engine rebuild? Original color brown (engine bay)? Green color on engine? Matching numbers on engine and transmission to rest of car? why selling after recent engine rebuild (50 miles)? Any additional oil cooling done for the 2.7? Much appreciated.
By the way, asking for California buyers such as myself has the exhaust work deleted the cats or are they still in place which I believe is required for California admissions of all cars Newer than 1975
I can't see how the exhaust system is situated. Still have heat? Headers only? Please describe full exhaust system. Thanks.
@sportscarguy3 This car has been a labor of love, and it’s wonderful to hear such positive feedback about the effort that went into its restoration. Thank you for the support and well wishes!
@SayAWE911 Thank you for your question and interest in the car! The suspension has been refreshed with upgraded sway bar bushings and a performance strut assembly. I’ve just uploaded pictures from the recent engine-out work, which include detailed shots of the undercarriage. I will take and upload updated photos showing how the car looks now after all the work was completed. Will also get you a leak down figure as well and brake life. Tomorrow I will do a cold start video, walk around and driving as well. Thank you again for your interest.
