Among the iconic 40-Series Toyota Land Cruisers, this 1976 FJ45 pickup stands out with its desirable long-bed configuration and 4.2-liter inline-six engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive. Finished in grey with matching interior upholstery, it has been upgraded with a grey tonneau cover, Warn winch, Hella auxiliary driving lights, and 16” wheels fitted with off-road tires. Imported from the Netherlands in January 2025, this FJ45 is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of New York.
This long-wheelbase FJ45 is a two-door pickup variant equipped with a long bed and was previously refinished in grey. Exterior features include a front-mounted Warn winch, rear tow hitch with wiring, a metal roof rack with four Hella driving lights, and a grey tonneau cover. It rides on black-painted 16” wheels with Comforser CF3000 tires dated 2018 and reportedly in like-new condition. The seller notes areas of exterior wear including touch-up paint, minor rust spots, and a small chip in the windshield. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features grey vinyl upholstery with body-colored surrounds. Equipment includes a black three-spoke steering wheel, analog instrumentation, various switchgear, a locking glovebox, roll-up windows, rubber floor mats, and a fire extinguisher mounted on the passenger side. A backup camera has also been installed. Signs of age are noted on some painted surfaces along with scratches on the floor.
This Land Cruiser is equipped with a 4.2-liter inline-six engine factory-rated at 135 HP and 210 lb-ft of torque. The rear or all four wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-range transfer case. No outstanding mechanical issues have been reported.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This 1976 Toyota FJ45 pickup was recently imported from the Netherlands in January and now holds a clean New York State title. Mechanically, it's solid. Starts reliably every time and runs as it should. The body has seen some touch-up paint and does show minor rust spots around the exterior, so it's not perfect cosmetically. That said, it's a solid truck overall and a great candidate for a collection or light restoration. A rare find that's ready to be driven and enjoyed!”
